Kelly Corrigan - The New Oprah?

Hello dear readers.  I hope that you enjoyed your weekend.  Ours was fairly quiet.  We are still trying to get into the rhythm of being empty nesters again.

Sista, our new bff, Kelly, and moi

It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Kelly Corrigan.  She is one of my favorite authors.  If you are new to my blog, you can read my posts here, here, here, and here.  I had the privilege of meeting Kelly last year, and she was everything that I had hoped for and more.  She is personable, warm, and very funny.  Kelly makes you feel comfortable and has the ability of having every woman wanting to be her best friend.

Well, great news for Kelly's fans.  The publishing platform, Medium, has launched its first digital series.  It is called Foreword, a twelve-part series, and the host is none other than the fabulous Kelly Corrigan.  She interviews such great writers as John Cleese, Margaret Atwood, and Nicholas Kristof.  The series goes on-line every Wednesday.  This week's guest is actor Jason Segel, who co-wrote a young adult novel.

Kelly's first interview is with none other than the adorable B.J. Novak.  Kelly and B.J. share great chemistry and it is a very entertaining conversation to watch.  You can see it here.

That's all for now.

Hope your Monday feels like Friday!

  5. Kelly is such a natural. Love her wit, her laughter and ability to ask questions that are positively insightful and clever.
You should write a book about "Empty nesting" survival tips. I will be an empty nester sooner than I can blink.
Although our daughter is in 10th grade, the next few years go amazingly fast, I call it "teen-age whiplash."
