Room Reveal: Blog Central

What a crazy week I have had.  We lost the internet for a couple of days.  The diagnosis was a broken modem.  We then had to wait for a new one to arrive in the mail.  I showed up half an hour late to an appointment because I got the time wrong.  I clogged my sink, which resulted in a sink full of water.  I then proceeded to drop my phone into the sink.  Lucky for me, I have the razor-sharp reflexes of an Olympian and saved the phone.

The highlight of my week is meeting this beautiful lady in person.  Kristin and I have followed each other for about ten years.  She had a blog for a couple of years and then moved on to Instagram.  Kristen's account is private because she has two beautiful children.  She is a big fan of Sista's book

Summer Reads

I hope that this post finds you well.  Not too much new around here.  We I have been glued to the TV coverage from the UK.  I think that I know more about the Queen than she knew about herself.  I was in awe of the respect and reverence that the mourners displayed.  Can you imagine standing in line for 10-12 hours?

However, if I had to stay in the line queue for hours, I wouldn't mind standing behind this handsome chap.

The Friday Files

Did you have a good week?  As I mentioned in my last post, our #1 stayed with us for a few days. It was fun to have her back in the nest.

I am so excited that Fall begins next week.  It's my favorite time of the year in Texas.

The Mister prepared Salmon one night, which is our #1's fave.  We have been eating every meal out on the patio.

That's Entertainment

I hope that you enjoyed your weekend. Ours was a lot of fun.  Friday night, we hosted a dinner party for some old friends.

I'm Back/Take 2

I hope that you had a good week.  First up, I want to thank everyone who left me a sweet comment, dropped me an email, and left me a message welcoming me back to Blogland.  I appreciate all of your kind words.

I don't know about you, but I had a busy week.  Not fun busy, just stuff I don't want to do busy.

I began the week with my annual physical.  It was my first Medicare physical. I thought to myself, how different can they be?  The answer? Very different.

I'm Back With A Slice of Prime

It feels so good to type those words.  I hope that you had a wonderful Summer.  It just amazes me how quickly the Summer months fly by and January and February drag on.

I'm going to give you a quick rundown on my Summer Sabbatical and my Amazon purchases in two parts.  It's your lucky day the first part is today!

Here are some highlights.

Rumor has it that my two trusty assistants are trying to unionize.  Their demands revolve around treats, bones, and balls.

The Mister officially retired again.  I have spent countless hours training him.  This is the day I took him outside of his comfort zone to the Outlets.  The training consisted of working on his physical strength and building up his stamina.

Next time we will concentrate on his facial expressions.  Looking disappointed and sad while I am checking out with all my incredible buys are big no-no's in the Mister's new world.
