I hope that you had a good week.  Last Sunday, our #1 and favorite son-in-law asked both sets of new grandparents and auntie over for some CPR and Choke training.  Lucy's jetset uncle was in Dubai.

Mother's Day Gift Guide

 

We began our weekend on Friday by taking Lucy and her Mama out to lunch.  We went to Bistro 31, one of my favorites.  The day was picture-perfect, and we sat out on the covered patio.  It worked out to be the ideal location because it held a direct escape route in case things hit the fan.

I hope you had a great week.  No big news around here.  We are headed to Dallas this morning to take our #1 and Lucy to lunch.  This is Adorable Jonathon's first week back to work.  Our #1 tells us that there were some touch-and-go moments, but all is well in their nest.

I hope that you had a good weekend.  Did you see the eclipse? It got very dark here.  At the sky's darkest point,  the Mister celebrated the big moment by running out to pick up his dry cleaning.

I hope that you had a good week. The weather has been picture-perfect.  My two favorite seasons in Texas are Spring and Fall.

I am happy to report that Computergate has concluded.  My weapon of choice is now a product from Dell.  It is off to a good start.  It arrived within 24 hours.

How was your weekend? We kicked ours off at a lovely birthday party at one of the most beautiful homes in the village. The guest of honor and her hubby are so darling. Our accomplished hostess with the mostess outdid herself.

I hope you had a good week. We stopped in a couple of times to get a little Lucy lovin'. We dropped off some of the Mister's cooking one day and picked up lunch on another.  It's amazing how much an infant changes with each day. You can tell I haven't been around babies for a while.

Did you have a good weekend? Ours was productive. We ran some errands, and the Mister did a lot of cooking. We are bringing some meals down to our girls and AJ. And while we're at it... I'm going to squeeze in some Lovey time with Lucy and Lemmy.

Lucy has arrived! The new Mama's water broke at 1:30AM on Wednesday morning, and we all sang Hallelujah! 

Pillow Talk

 

In case you are wondering, we are still on baby watch.  Every morning, we get up at 5AM, and the first thing we do is check our Mama-to-be's location.  We talk to her every evening, and she is feeling great.  She told me that she loves being pregnant, but she can't wait to meet Lucy.

It has been warm enough to spend some time out on the patio.  Nobody is happier than Miss Millie.

I hope that you had a good weekend.  We met our dear friends, Miss Deb and Sir Rex, at my new favorite restaurant, Joey's. 

They enjoyed our favorite appetizer, hummus and tzatziki, with crispy pita chips, as much as we did.  As always, it was great fun catching up.

Did you have a good Valentine's Day week?  The Mister and I celebrated at one of our favorite hotspots, R&D Kitchen.  Thirty-four years ago today, the Mister became the luckiest guy in the world when he popped the question in NYC.  I played hard to get - it took me half a millisecond to say yes.

After lunch, we stopped by to see #2 and check in on Lemmy, who had been spayed last week.  I am happy to report she is healing nicely, is back to her old self,  and is cone-free during the day.
