Are you shopped out yet?  I find that the more I have to do, the faster the week whizzes by.  I hope you are crossing items off your list with lightning speed and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.  And if you are traveling, I wish you abundant patience and a safe voyage.


We have the cutest Town Square in McKinney, with lots of darling shops and fabulous restaurants.  This week, The Mister and I had a wonderful lunch at Rick's and then wore off our calories my favorite way, with shopping. 

    



I am so happy we finally have an independent bookstore, Neighbor Books. It is a darling space that houses a wide variety of books on varied subjects, as well as best sellers.  It devotes ample space to the younger set, offering a variety of children's books along with Storytimes.  




Another first for us was Cocktail Creamery.  We had a delightful conversation with Sharyn, who owns the shop and serves the delicious ice cream concoctions.  Her husband makes the ice cream and comes up with mouthwatering flavors.  They have over 99 flavors, including alcohol-infused ice cream.  Did I mention that they have a full bar and karaoke nights?

    I love All Creatures Great and Small! I just finished re-watching last season in preparation for January. Now I want to visit the Yorkshire Dales!
