Greetings from beautiful, nippy Rosemary Beach, Florida. I am visiting my Sista and her darling assistant,Wiley.
I hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had a fun one. The Adorables, my favorite son-in-law's delightful family, joined us. They also brought an honored guest, Aunt Mermie, from Canada. Here are a few snapshots of our Thanksgiving. Our security was on high alert....
How was your week? Mine was fairly quiet. The Mister was out of town, so Millie and I were in full command. We left dishes in the sink until evening and then stacked the dishwasher willy-nilly.
I know you are grinding your teeth right now, Mister!

I hope that you had a good week. Ours was very quiet. I am officially done with Covid! Today, I am venturing out of the house after being in quarantine for ten days. The Mister and I have a busy day ahead. I need to do a lot of returning of things after all of my impulse buys while feeling sorry for myself. The Mister loves seeing me return things. He's not so hot on seeing me walk out of the store with a bigger bag than I brought in, though....
Hope all is well in your world. Covid still has me by the tail, but I am gaining strength.Do you know what gives me strength? Partnering with my favorite bedding/bath brand, Boll and Branch. As you may recall, I partnered with B&B last year. I heard from so many of you that you were over-the-top pleased with all of your purchases....
I hope that this post finds you well. It seems like everyone, including the Mister and me, is under the weather.
Did you have a good Halloween? Ours was quiet; we usually don't get any trick-or-treaters. You would never know it from our pantry, though. Our Director of Purchasing brought home 3 huge bags of candy just to be on the safe side. I noticed that one of the bags had been opened and broken into.

I'm Katie. Welcome to my blog. I am an empty nester meandering through my midlife years one page at a time. We sold our antique home on the South Shore of Massachusetts in October 2020 and relocated to the Dallas suburbs and our forever home.
I love to write about books, movies, TV, celebrities, shopping, decorating, Bravo, and weekend adventures. My favorite writing material, however, is derived from my family: the Mister, my girls, #1 and #2, my favorite son-in-law, and my new little mischief-maker, thoroughly darling Millie. I love hearing from my wonderful readers.
