Hello, I'm Katie
I'm Katie. Welcome to my blog. I am an empty nester meandering through my midlife years one page at a time. We sold our antique home on the South Shore of Massachusetts in October 2020 and relocated to the Dallas suburbs and our forever home.
I love to write about books, movies, TV, celebrities, shopping, decorating, Bravo, and weekend adventures. My favorite writing material, however, is derived from my family: the Mister, my girls, #1 and #2, my favorite son-in-law, and my new little mischief-maker, thoroughly darling Millie. I love hearing from my wonderful readers.

I know this wasn't filmed at my house. I don't let MoonPie use the garage either.
ReplyDeleteI am laughing so hard! I just found your blog and am taking a peek. That video screams just what my husband "wants to say" but instead he says "oh that looks nice". I think I will play it for him LOL! We live way out in the boonies and my nearest Home Goods Store is 90 miles away. I manage to get there as often as I can. I am following your blog now! Have a wonderful November! xxDazee
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA , xo K
ReplyDeleteOhmigosh, that is so funny! I'm still laughing. Going to watch it again.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh my…. I'm ducking and laughing at the same time :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sitting in a doctor's office and just watched the video. I'm laughing so hard and wondering when someone will come in to cart me off to the looney bin. So funny!!
ReplyDeleteHilarious! Have a good weekend Katie!
ReplyDeleteHilarious! Kind of happy that I am a widow right now.......finding a great new man is a challenge, my friend you are in charge of matchmaking!

Sooo funny! Sounds like my house. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOMGosh.....too funny, how did my husband get in that video????????
ReplyDeleteP.S. By the way...love the cheese grater!!!!!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteDarn (pardon the four letter word)...the truth has a painful sting. And of course I might want to grate cheese in the middle of the night...I am not sure what is strange about that activity...
ReplyDeleteTrying to type, but still laughing too hard. I got rid of my husband years ago so I wouldn't have to deal with just this kind of problem. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteThat is sooooo funny, until I remember my husband should never see it! He is still in the "looks great" phase and I'd like to prolong that. Cheryl Ann
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly what my husband wants to say - I am sure of it. I could do my own rendition on hub's golfing and his golf corner in the garage.
ReplyDeleteFor once I am glad that my husband doesn't notice anything - he's oblivious to anything and everything - including me with my hair on fire - should that ever occur. Luv him anyway! ~Paige
ReplyDeleteToo funny! Have a wonderful week, Paige!
DeleteI laughed so hard...my husband came over and laughed too. He said what that guy said was so true. And.....I am not even a blogger! Needed the laugh, thanks!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHilarious! Home Goods is a very dangerous place, indeed. And I have to admit that I have no idea what half the stuff there is for but the difference between me and the husband in the video is that, even though I don't know what it is, I still want it!
ReplyDeleteI think I just wet myself laughing. If I close my eyes this could be my husband. Too funny. Thanks.
