#2's Weekend Home

Last weekend, #2 came home from college for the first time.  She travelled with her best buddy and all went smoothly with her flight.
When the Mister and I asked her what she wanted to do this weekend, she answered that she wanted to sleep in her own bed and go shopping.
One of her very favorite stores is a small boutique which is Dallas' best kept secret called Milk and Honey.   This store caters to teens through their thirties.  It reminds me of the same genre of clothing as Anthropologie and much less expensive.

Not only does Milk and Honey carry great clothes, the store itself is adorable.

It is owned by a very cute girl in her twenties named Brittany.

Great accessories!

Helloo Jackie O!

This shirt is much cuter in real life. Don't worry, she didn't turn "goth" on me - she's going to wear it to a Halloween party.

We then met big sis at one of our favorite restaurants, Toulouse.

Big Sis went off to a museum (for her Art History class) and we went on to Northpark - #2's favorite mall.

Best buys of the day were found at Forever 21!

We had a great weekend with our #2 and the best news is she positively loves college!

Now I'm counting the days 'til Parents Weekend.

Hope you have a wonderful Monday!

  1. Your girls are so adorable. I know you must have been excited to have #2 home for the weekend. She is very tiny like my youngest daughter who is now 31. She always finds cute things at Forever 21, too because they carry the tiny sizes. Glad you had such a fun weekend.

    Hugs,
    Laura

  3. I kind of want your #2 to take me shopping. I love all of her finds! I think Milk and Honey is adorable and I love the print shop next to it, We Are 1976. I've gotten some cute art for my house and gifts from there!
