I am on a tennis team that I have no business being on. No, I'm not being modest, I am by far the worst one on the team. I am older than almost every one of my teammates and the least athletic person known to man. I am convinced the girls on the team keep me on for one reason - comic relief. I play tennis for a few reasons - lunch, friends, and of course, the cute outfits and accessories.
It was time to order some new tennis gear so I wanted to share some of my favorite things.
Our team uniform is very relaxed and we can wear anything that is black and white. That way, everyone is happy. I have been on teams before that when a uniform is designated, the ladies that do not care for the outfit turn into Teresa from the New Jersey Housewives. It ain't pretty... Don't have to worry about that with this team.
One of my favorite tennis sites for skirts is SmashGal. They carry a full line of tennis wear and accessories. Kelly, the owner is great to deal with and very accommodating. If I put in an order on Monday I usually have it by Thursday.
The skirts come in solids and very cute prints. The great thing about this company is you don't see a lot of the same skirt around the courts. Also, all the skirts fit the same. Can't say that about Nike.
SmashGal carries two types of skirts: the first is a skirt that rests on the waistline; the second one has a wider waistband, sits down lower on the waist and has attached shorts.
I ordered this one and love it!
I also hop over to Autumn Avenue for tennis bribes gifts for my teammates. They make great tennis towels and also are prompt about sending them out.
Why do I have the feeling that I may receive this towel from one of my tennis buddies for my next birthday?
