Welcome back!  I hope all is well in your world.  We arrived home on Wednesday night from my Supermodel Trophy Wife Retreat with plenty of wonderful memories, a plethora of photos, and a few extra pounds around the middle.  I am going to work on the travel post over the weekend.

I threw this condensed post together yesterday while I was knee-deep in a jetlag fog, so please forgive the typos and misplaced links.

I hope all is well in your world.  My week was busy - I had lunch with a dear friend and took care of some personal upkeep.  At this age, it takes a village.

Prime Time

I hope all is well in your world.  The highlight of our weekend was taking our Number #2 to lunch.  Her fiancé, Darling Will, was out of town at a bachelor party.  We went to one of our favorite spots, R&D Kitchen, which was a delightful dining experience, as always.

The highlight was stopping off at Lucy's house.  It was great catching up with Lucy and her Mama.

I hope all is well in your world. Not too much new around here.  The Mister took Millie for her check-up, and our girl was up a few LBs.  Better her than me. 

Millie has been depressed ever since.  She told me that she wants to sue the Vet for fat shaming.

I hope all is well in your world.  I had a busy week - 2 lunches with a couple of dear friends and a happy hour at our village wine bar with my picklebuds, which is always a guaranteed good time.

I hope that all is well in your world. Are you used to the time change yet?  We are getting there little by little.

Today, I am off to check out a new restaurant in our little village with a friend in our 'hood. I am cautiously optimistic.

I hope all is well in your world.  Last weekend we celebrated Miss Lucy's second birthday.  We were blessed with picture-perfect weather, and Lucy's house was decorated in Lucy and her Mama's favorite color.

 I hope all is well in your world.  North Texas is in for some early Spring weather.  The Mister is off to knock 'em dead at pickleball.  In the old days, when he was off to do something physical, I would bid him goodbye with the words, Good luck!  Now I say BE CAREFUL!

Beauty Hits and Misses

 

I hope all is well in your world.  For my friends in the Northeast, I remember those wicked snowstorms.  I feel your pain. 

I checked a few things off my to-do list this weekend.  I voted in the primary.  Texas has gone back to paper ballots.  Nothing like taking the system backwards.  After I filled out the ballot, I proudly handed it to the lady who put it through the machine.  In less than 30 seconds, it spat it back out.   The disappointed lady told me I failed to fill in two of the bubbles fully.

Our weekend was busy.  We met the Adorables for lunch on Friday at P.F. Changs. We hadn't been there for quite a while, and my lettuce wraps were positively delish.  And the company was delightful.
