Audrey Hepburn has been my idol since I was 5 years old when my parents brought me to Radio City Music Hall at Christmas time to see the Rockettes and the movie Charade.
Although I was young and didn't realize it at the time - she set a standard for me that day - one that was out of reach, but it still existed.
As a tribute, I chose the song Moon River for my first dance as a married woman at my wedding.
She was, and always will be, the epitome of elegance, unstoppable grace, and unbridled compassion.
Thank you Audrey Hepburn, for your wonderful movies, your fabulous fashion sense, and your words of wisdom.

May your day be filled with style and grace.

Very beautiful despite not having perfect features. The YouTube of her singing Moonriver has got to be one of the most charming and soothing vignettes out there - perfect to end the day on! Also, what fortitude; how she did her work

I have a friend that while she doesn't LOOK like Audrey exactly, there is something with her eyes and shape of the face. I dare not tell her - she would think I'm lying.
