My Week According To Google

Happy weekend, dear friends.  I've had quite a week.  My Chowdah is growing like a weed and with every pound comes a new challenge for his Mama.  All I can say is it's lucky he is so darn cute.

So rather than telling you about all my trials and tribulations in trying to raise this rambunctious puppy, I thought I would give you a birds dog's eye view of what I have googled this week.

How do I get my sweet little puppy to stop nipping me?

Why is my mischievous puppy chewing my cankles

I ordered this.
Maybe it will shame him into behaving.
Somehow I doubt it.

Is it considered a "bite" if a puppy breaks the skin?

Not me or Chowdah but a remarkable facsimile.

What happens to my sweet little puppy if he eats a dead mole?

Can you think of anything more disgusting?

If your puppy ate a mole, and he "accidentally " scratched you and drew blood, can you die of some awful disease?

Not me.
Just wish it was.
So does the Mister.

Why does my puppy eat grass when I spend an exorbitant amount of money on designer dog food and treats?

Why does my darn puppy feel compelled to dig 'til he strikes oil?

My "angel" Chowdah in the flesh.

Why does my puppy eat our brand new mulch?

What is a natural ADD medicine for puppies?  Nothing that would danger his health, of course.  Just a little something to take the edge off?

What is Cesear what's his name - the dog whisperer guy's phone number?

Hope you're having a great weekend!

Just another day in Paradise.

  1. Katie, I laughed so hard at your post. Loved the remarkable facsimile. Sounds like you had a trying week. This too shall pass (in a few years)!

  2. We've used those little Kong toys to hide treats, and my dogs love them. But of course, I have no idea where they are. Time to order more.
And thank goodness all your dog eats is a mole. I've seen mine eat far worse! Yuck!

  4. oh, Katie so funny (although I am sure not for you at times), that puppy energy is exhausting, although sometimes it doesn't stop with being a puppy. My cavalier King Charles Spaniel was still jumping on the kitchen table until the day before he died at 13 years old, last year, a habit I couldn't break. Pick your battles with Mr. Chowdah. good luck.

  6. Aaahhhh the joys of puppyhood!! Wish I could offer some words of wisdom but I'm still trying to get my " girls" to stop eating geese poop! Hang in there mama; this too shall pass. Hugs, Dawn

  7. Such fun remembering puppyhood. My dog still eats grass, only to throw it up on the carpet later. What's up with that? She's ten! Sounds like you're in for a fun ride. Happy Memorial Day!

  8. Hilarious! Don't we all occasionally need a little something to take off the edge? ;-)
Maybe a splash of wine in Chowdah's water bowl?
