I have very exciting news (for me, at least). Yesterday, I had my usual catch-up Real Housewives lunch with my friend, Lori Burke of Lori Lynn Designs. I asked her if she would take me on as a client and help me with designing our master bathroom renovation. She agreed. Poor Lori has no idea what she's getting herself into. I am meeting her on Tuesday to go over tile, color, and all that other delicious stuff. Can't wait!
I thought it would be fun to blog about the whole process. This way you can live through every blessed minute of the renovation with me. Lucky you!! The Mister doesn't even want to go through it with me!
Here are some pictures that I have pinned for inspiration. In a perfect world, you would burn as many calories pinning as you would in the same amount of time on a treadmill. In a perfect world, I would be a double zero.
Thinking about a french blue/grey and white.
Looks like Kate plus 8 could fit into that shower!
Great mirrors. Lots of cabinet space. Would have to put all those bright lights on dimmers to preserve my youthful appearance.
This wallpaper is so clean and fresh looking. Would love that mirrored wall provided it was a "skinny" mirror.
Wow! I think your pics qualify as bathroom porn. Can't wait to see what you do in your home.
ReplyDeleteFun..love the last bathroom...gorgeous. The one where you said you liked the wallpaper its actually marble tiles on the walls and is from New Ravenna fyi. I look forward to going on your master bathroom journey with you!
ReplyDeleteLove the last picture. It looks like the real world.
ReplyDeleteI am a fan of white, and love the blue walls. So many choices :)
Hugs,
Laura
Love your inspiration, Katie. Good luck and enjoy the process. XO, Mona
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Katie! I have lots of french blue and gray in my home .. love it! I am so excited for you! My MB needs a re do badly. I have lots of white marble in my kitchen and plan to have it in my bathroom as well. It's timeless.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!
Loving all the blue, white and cream. That is the colors I chose in my Master bedroom. My little bathroom is not as grande, but I love the small but spa-like look and feel of it. It will be fun to follow along1
