Good morning, dear friends. Last weekend, our #1 and her boyfriend, Adorable Jonathon, came for a visit. It was a whirlwind and filled with blue skies and lots of laughter.
#1 and AJ took the ferry from Boston. I love the convenience and beauty of this ferry ride and they enjoyed it tremendously.
#1 is definitely her mother's daughter. When asked where they wanted to go for lunch, #1 piped in and told us anywhere on the water. We chose Alma Nove, which is owned by the Wahlbergs and also has its own reality show. No shooting today. The only stars were the ones sitting at our table.
The Mister and I are convinced that #1 comes home to see the dogs first - then us.
It was very warm. Our Texans are not used to having no air conditioning. They did have it in their bedrooms, though.

But the tides changed as soon as #1 and Adorable Jonathon came out to play some apres breakfast ball.
Gotta keep your eye on the ball...
On Sunday, we went to Boston to have lunch. Our #1 keeps us laughing all the time.
We went to a wonderful restaurant called Post 390. The food was positively delicious and the service was outstanding.
That evening before cocktails, we bonded with the pooches.
Some snuggling later on.
Per request, we continued with our waterfront dining on Monday. We went to one of our favorites - Olde Salt House. #1 ordered a lobstah roll and was privileged to see some of her lobstah's relatives coming ashore.
We enjoyed another wonderful weekend with adorable Jonathon and his somewhat crazy girlfriend.
On our way home, we received a text from #1 telling us that AJ was granted a first class upgrade. He promptly handed it over to our girl.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is exactly why we call him Adorable Jonathon.
