Hello, dear friends. I hope that you had an enjoyable week. I certainly picked a bad year to give up complaining. Wednesday's Nor'easter was much kinder to us than last week's. Mark my words... I'll never take electricity for granted again.
Here are some items that caught my eye this week.

Speaking of sleep...
Don't forget to set your clocks ahead on Sunday!
Bad news - lose an hour of sleep.
Good news - one more hour of daylight.
I cannot believe that we are springing forward already! So glad you made it through the nor easter, it looked brutal.
ReplyDeleteEveryone is raving about Megan Markle's style and it's beautiful and it suits her, but I have always loved Kate's more classic style.
ReplyDeleteI am all for coming back as Kate Middleton next time! There's a commentator who's on MSNBC a lot -- I think she's a writer for the Atlantic -- who is a dead ringer. At first I thought, "What's Kate doing commenting on American politics -- I don't think that's allowed!" Then I realized she didn't have a Brit accent.
ReplyDeleteWell, if Diane Keaton has another book, I'm in. And just saying, again -- I LOVE your dogs!
LOVE the iPhone case pictured! Do you know where it can be ordered?
ReplyDeleteHi Kimberly... here is the link. Have a wonderful weekend.

DeleteI love to take a peek at what Kate Middleton wears. She's so normal but so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNow I have to go see what the most popular book in Texas is. It just might be KariAnne Wood's new book. :)
How did you stay warm without power? How awful! Maybe it will warm-up this weekend.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your power outage. That is a tough one. Great post. Love the styles, clothing and those yummy recipes. Have a fabulous weekend.
ReplyDeleteKatie, thank you for the oodles of information. I have already made some changes to my iPhone. The article was very helpful. I am glad the sun is out in your neighborhood. I hope the snow days are behind you. Hugs to your “Hooligans”....Maxine
ReplyDeleteMr. Nine will love all the Grape Nuts recipes, he is Grape nuts crazy. I love seeing the shimmering water with feet above it, no on the sea thingy but yes on water time soon, I hope!! You are a plethora of info dear lady and keep me informed!! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love Grape Nuts!
ReplyDeleteSo thank you for that!
And I am a huge Kate fan...
So classy and sweet!
Thanks for the fun and information today.
Have a cozy weekend. : )
Florida is springing forward for good, it seems. The bill to stay on DLST looks like it will pass. Talk about confusing..
ReplyDeleteI always love your Friday posts and will visit a couple of those links as soon as I press publish!! Happy weekend!
Enjoyed your Friday Files today. I kind of got stuck on the muffin pan pizzas.
ReplyDeleteKatie, what a fabulous kitchen! I love Kate Middleton’s style, classic beauty! I will have to check out some links you shared. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteLOVE Kate Middleton and love Diane Keaton's Pinterest home!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend and no more snow storms and no more power outages. xo Diana
I'm so glad you have power, Katie. It was tragic seeing your IG posts! Some people up in Michigan have generators-power goes out in the most mild thunderstorms, or blizzards, and since we are somewhat remote, we can go days.
ReplyDeleteLoving Diane Keaton's home. I didn't guess, but she is always full of surprises.
Love your book recommendations. I wrote about The Woman In The Window. Just finished it and feel exhausted by the whole story-twists and turns and totally unexpected end. Totally recommend it.
Have a good weekend, Katie.

The best Saturday morning (I know, I know, it's the FF) entertainment around. Kate is flawless, and I could look at photos of her fashion choices all day long. And that St. Pat's table - wow. Wouldn't it be lovely to have that table set for us with some of the food porn you share here? You could be the professional introducer, and let me meet your new husband Justin. Oh yea, bring your first husband George, too. And Diane. Maybe Kate would let me borrow one of her dresses. That would be nice.
ReplyDeleteBack to reality.....I hope you're clear of the crazy weird storms and have a bit more normalcy to your routine. I always like when the street cleaners appear, and start getting some of the winter's salt & cinders (as well as spring's leaf pollen) off the roads.
You can't marry him. He's mine LOL xo Laura
ReplyDeleteHappy Daylight Savings Time! More sunshine to melt your snow!
ReplyDeleteSo glad this week's weather was kinder to you. I know you are more than ready for spring. And, my head hits the pillow and I'm out. I do occasionally wake up around 1:30 and chase rabbits, but generally sleep very well. Happy rest of the weekend Katie!
ReplyDeleteI'm proud to say we remembered to change our clocks and were on time for church this morning! I'm going to save and study those iPhone texting tips. Brilliant! Happy Sunday!!!
ReplyDeleteSo good to know you didn't have another knock out storm this last time around. So much to love about this post, cute welcome at the door for one and I love Diane Keaton! I would have picked her house in a line up! A good book, wherever that pic is, is where I want to be and Easter with family is like a party for me. Happy week to you dear Katie.........
ReplyDeleteHI Katie- I love these lists! You had me at Diane Keaton's kitchen and I love the title of her book. I have heard that title but didn't know it was her book! Happy Monday. I hope it's easier to get up tomorrow. My dogs thought I was crazy letting them out "in the middle of the night." (6am). laura
