Lilly Pulitzer
November 10, 1937 - April 7, 2013
Thank you for bringing beauty and color into our world.
Your biggest fans,
I'm Katie. Welcome to my blog. I am an empty nester meandering through my midlife years one page at a time. We sold our antique home on the South Shore of Massachusetts in October 2020 and relocated to the Dallas suburbs and our forever home.
I love to write about books, movies, TV, celebrities, shopping, decorating, Bravo, and weekend adventures. My favorite writing material, however, is derived from my family: the Mister, my girls, #1 and #2, my favorite son-in-law, and my new little mischief-maker, thoroughly darling Millie. I love hearing from my wonderful readers.

I did not see that news. I had a Lilly Pulitzer dress many, many years ago. She was quite a lady-and what a loss- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI am such a Lilly fan.....I am devastated about this. She was such an absolute trendsetter. I am needing to tone up so I can wear my Lilly dresses and bathing suits again proudly. She will be missed.
ReplyDeleteBig Lilly fan over here.....and my closet will prove it! Even those tiny size 4's I cannot wear, I cannot bear to part with :) Love her style and her love for pink and green will live on forever and ever....she was a true icon and such a pretty and stylish one at that!
ReplyDeletePS Totally switching gears here...but did you see Vicky's face last night..OMG What gives? What the heck is going on??????
Lilly leaves a colorful legacy indeed! I'll wear an LP sweater today in her memory.
ReplyDeleteI'm wearing Lilly shorts. I love the spirit she shared with her brand.
