Hello, dear friends. I hope that this post finds you well. Thanks to all who wrote me a note with get well wishes. I am feeling like my old self. I only felt under the weather for one day. The Mister and I have tested ourselves every morning, and thankfully we have been negative.
It's the first Tuesday of the month, so I am linking up with my buddy Tanya from The Other Side of the Road and her Prime Purchases party. I always get great ideas from other bloggers who have linked up.
I have an ironing board that I've had for about 30 years. I decided to get one that can be attached to the wall, which will be a lot more convenient.
I bought two of these for our front doors.
My entryway is well covered and is not in the direct sun, so I can get the preserved boxwood instead of the artificial ones.
I'm going to make pretty bows for them.
I ordered the fancy version of these brushes over Christmas when the company had a promotion going. I really liked it. I came across this set that is dirt cheap, and it has excellent reviews. For seven bucks, I took the plunge. I'll keep you posted.
I also ordered this one because of its reviews.
What can I say?
I'm easily influenced!
I got these to protect my makeup and clothes when I get dressed.
This goes into the why didn't I think of that? file.
I usually use white strips, but my buddy, Jeanne, raved about this pen. I can't have my buddy have whiter teeth than me so I ordered one.
Much cheaper than bully sticks and lasts just as long.
One of the Insta influencers recommended this jacket.
I love it because it is light and is the perfect weight for the in-between days. It also comes with a pouch, so it's easy to pack.
Order one size up because it runs small.
I ordered another one of these Bluetooth beanies, so I always have one charged and ready to go.
I bought this for my buddy, KTG, and she loved it as much as I did.
Until next time...
Reminds me of my sweet Chili.
I think I'll order Lady Clementine! I always enjoy your prime purchases and also your book recommendations.
ReplyDeleteKatie, so glad that you are better and your Covid experience was a short one! Ad always, fun post and great tips!
ReplyDeleteOh, also thanks for your response about my former posting issues. I find that as long as I go through Google Chrome instead of Google to read and comment I have no problem! Just wanted to add this for any others who may have experienced the same.
ReplyDeleteI always but the dog things you recommend for my granddogs. Just order those braided dog chews to keep them busy when they're at my house.
ReplyDeleteI've had more than a few Amazon items come to me directly from a big store like Home Depot or Staples. Same thing with some items I ordered from Walmart and Ebay.
ReplyDeleteI still buy beautiful handmade door wreaths on Etsy after you recommended them about 5 years ago (so many choices, they arrive in perfect condition, and I use the packing boxes to store them).
Glad you're feeling better! I have several friends and neighbors who are vaxxed, boosted and wear masks who got the Omicron variant, Proves you can't be too careful I guess. Last month I ordered some cleaning and laundry products from AMZ and they came from Costco. I thought that was a little strange - first time it happened. Since I have a Sam's Club, account next time I will probably order direct.
ReplyDeleteSo glad your Covid experience was very mild - thanks for sharing the news and keeping us updated.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy these posts. I am just now finishing The Maid. Thank you for the recommendation. I loved that book.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to hear you only felt lousy one day with Covid.
Karen
I have a similar jacket, and it is just perfect for Houston winters. Yes, the covid tests and masks are the most common items on Prime Purchases this month...ha! Thanks so much for linking up!
ReplyDeleteHappy that you are feeling better. Thank you always for all the great reading recommendations. We had a cold Saturday in lower Alabama this past weekend and I finished The Fortunate Ones in one day. Wow! I immediately checked the Libby app and started on "Only Love Can Break Your Heart" by Ed Tarkington. It's great so far.
ReplyDeleteYour book selections always look so fabulous!
ReplyDeleteHappy you are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteI am reading Sanatarium or is it Solarium? ha! Did you hear about Hoda and Joel?
I am so happy you and your mister are feeling so much better and testing negative! Those testing kits are the same ones I've been buying. I also use those Stevia drops! Going to check out a couple of things and thanks for the recommendations! xo
ReplyDeleteI've looked at those brushes several times and just haven't taken the plunge yet. So, keep us informed after you've used them. We have 3 Covid tests and then ordered the free ones from the gov't, so we'll be ready if it strikes. Have a great one!!!!
ReplyDeleteSpotted you on a mutual blog friends blog, so thought I'd pop over to say hi. It's always fun to meet new bloggers. I do some shopping with Amazon, but this one post covers more than I probably buy is several months. I like audio books, I like being able to do multiple things at one time while listening vs sitting still reading.
ReplyDeleteA few months ago, I felt so depressed, I got frustrated with bad credits, but then I contacted HACK VANISH by phone: +1 (747) 293-8514 and email: HACK VANISH (@) GMAIL. COM. I found out about hack vanish services through positive reviews read on some credit blogs, in a blink of an eye this great hacker restored my credit score from 509 to 784 in all 3 major credit bureaus, they got removed evictions and foreclosures, my LexisNexis and Chex system was repaired respectively, a few days later I received an email confirming the approval of my mortgage loan, it was quite surprising because I never thought it was possible. Today, I can confidently say that 2021 was a banner year for my husband and I as we now own a new house and a new SUV courtesy of HACK VANISH, I would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of a genuine Hacker.
