The only one in the family who enjoys the snow is Millie. It is her first time experiencing it. She likes to go out every ten minutes to do her part by noshing on it. Getting up out of my chair to open the door is the extent of my cardio.

ReplyDeleteSuzanne...It sounds fab!! Can't wait to read it!
DeleteThanks!
DeleteKatie, I LOVE LOVE LOVE James Farmer! He is such an amazing designer. The houses are beautiful, I never knew that I need a champagne room! I read the article about the Goodnight Moon author too, so fascinating. Check out the Book In the Green Room, it is about her and her very interesting life. I read it and found her to be so interesting. There was a lot more to her childrens' book than people thought. As for the snacks!!!! Oh my goodness I love finger food and comfort food, all of these recipes look scrumptious.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and enjoy your weekend.
I've found some good books based on your recommendations. Alo, the link under Teresa Guidice's house goes to the older home in Illinois (LOL)! I'd love to tour Tre's house as that show is one of my guilty pleasures!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads-up. I fixed the link. Have a great weekend!
DeleteThat Newport house looks amazing... plus I love Newport!
ReplyDeleteA champagne tasting room!!! Love the cardinal in the snow ❤️ Yesterday it was 70 and we had tornadoes, today it's 37 and freezing, crazy Southern winter weather! I just ordered a silk pillowcase yesterday, can't wait to try it! Hope your ice and snow melts soon...

So many pretty things - and houses! I think I need a champagne tasting room! Enjoy your weekend!

I never heard of an 'ice dam' ( think that's what you called it?) until you posted about it from your house in Boston. I know the cold in Dallas is a BIG improvement from the ice and snow "up north"!
ReplyDeleteHope you never have to experience an ice dam, Susie!! Have a good week!
DeleteOh my goodness, so many good things here!! Thank you! I like that "old" house in Illinois. I would fight you for that casserole unless you let me split it with you! Yum! Have a great weekend, Katie!
ReplyDeleteI really look forward to your Friday Files, Katie. You narrow down all of the chaos in my mind into relative order! Too much to mention here because as I said, chaos. Wondering--I tried to find a way to pin the gorgeous dishes you featured...am I missing anything?
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend!
Jane
How fun to get a shout out! Love the historical reads. I did not see the image above the young man's head. And, the reindeer was added later?
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday. We got snow earlier this week but I think it is warming up to the 30's. xo laura
Millie is the cutest! Rick is headed to Dallas tomorrow. He's sad he'll be missing the snow here. But you never know -- could be fun down there, too!
ReplyDeleteWe have had one dusting of snow in Atlanta. I find it's a good time to go out because the Georgia natives go into shock and don't leave home. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteA few months ago, I felt so depressed, I got frustrated with bad credits, but then I contacted HACK VANISH by phone: +1 (747) 293-8514 and email: HACK VANISH (@) GMAIL. COM. I found out about hack vanish services through positive reviews read on some credit blogs, in a blink of an eye this great hacker restored my credit score from 509 to 784 in all 3 major credit bureaus, they got removed evictions and foreclosures, my LexisNexis and Chex system was repaired respectively, a few days later I received an email confirming the approval of my mortgage loan, it was quite surprising because I never thought it was possible. Today, I can confidently say that 2021 was a banner year for my husband and I as we now own a new house and a new SUV courtesy of HACK VANISH, I would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of a genuine Hacker.
