Hello, dear friends.  I hope that you enjoyed your Thanksgiving.  Ours was delightful and I can't wait to tell you all about it.  The post will be published at the beginning of next week.  

I am writing this on Wednesday while sitting in the kitchen watching the Mister perform his magic in preparation for tomorrow's feast.  

My job is done.  

I set the table.  

Now, I'm exhausted.  

Gosh darn it, I knew I shouldn't have pushed myself.  

This is a peek into what is going in the kitchen at this very moment.  You will find out the story behind the maple leaves in next week's post.

If you are wondering where the Mister's sous chef is, Millie is spending the day at camp today.  She was there yesterday, too.  We are hopeful that she will be so worn out by the time our guests arrive that she will practically be comatose. 

   

So while I have stepped in as my husband's sexy support system, I decided to put my time to good use by writing a post.  I came up with the title 50 Gifts for Under 50 Bucks.    There was only one problem... I found a lot more than 50 gifts.  

I scare myself; I am such an overachiever.  

So, I decided to split it into two parts and post them hours apart.  If I posted all of the items in one post, it would take too long for the post to load on your computer.  That way, if any of the items are on sale for Black Friday, you won't miss it.
