Hello, dear friends. I hope that you are enjoying your weekend. My Mister is suffering from some serious Spring Fever. Every time I look over at what he is reading on his iPad, it usually has something to do with gardening. This is a guy whose second favorite scent is mulch. His first favorite fragrance for as long as I have known him is new car.
Here is a list of the Mister's garden gotta haves. I also added a few of my own. You can figure out who is more concerned with fashion and comfort when it comes to gardening.
Is there such a thing as the Oscars for hoses?
A sure cure for the Mister's OCD.
I didn't think that it would be possible for the Mister to get more organized, but he feels the need for one of these.
Chili will think that opening in the middle is a seat for her.
Love these garden clogs.

A supermodel trophy wife always needs to protect her skin from the sun. You think it's easy to still look like I'm in my thirties?

The sleeve of the fabric is vintage material.
Every time I wear them, I feel like I'm Mrs. Cleaver.
Amazon
I can't ruin my manicure.
Amazon
I don't have one of these, but I want one.

I never go outside without my bug spray.

This mat is cushier than others that I have tried.

A must-have for my wardrobe this year.

And this, too, so the Mister knows who is in charge.
Now, all we need is Spring weather.
Enjoy your Sunday.
Any garden gadgets that you can recommend?
Until next time...

Great ideas!! I might need the Mrs. Cleaver gloves. :)
ReplyDeleteI just kept on laughing as I read your post! Love all the gizmos and gadgets!
DeleteYou are making me anxious for spring, but alas, we have a while still. I agree that a kneeling pad is essential anymore and that looks like a good one! I spend a lot of time wrestling watering hoses into place. I'll have to look into the one mister recommends. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteI love my Weeder that I place over the weed-push down-step on the little lever with my foot and it pulls the weed out roots and all. I think I ordered it from one of those TV infomercials years ago....lol.
ReplyDeleteYou have some great products here. xo Diana
As always I love your blog!
ReplyDeleteI laughed about the digging gloves, isn't that Chowdah's job?
Hope spring arrives your area soon...
Chowdah's specialty is digging up the NEW plants! Enjoy your week, Eli!!
DeleteAnd all this time I thought having an old rake with a missing tine and a hoe made me look professional. Guess I have to rethink. LOL

Great products! I saw a few for my wish list. As you can imagine, we have been in spring gardening mode for about six weeks here in Houston. Hope you had a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteOut in the garden this morning and came in for a coffee break. '-)
ReplyDeleteMain gardening tool I need is a reliable gardener! This body feels the pain of hours in the garden. '-)
Love this time of year though, even with the daunting task ahead. Love the clogs!
Growing up on a farm you would think I would love gardening but I think I missed that gene! Both of my grandmothers were great gardeners...their flowers were beautiful. I tend to lean to hosts and monkey grass which I have not been able to kill yet!! I so admire all you dear people with green thumbs.
ReplyDeleteLots of goodies there...if I ever set foot in a garden!
ReplyDeleteHa! About two weeks ago my husband brought our pressure washer up from the basement (in its box that was never opened) and asked if he could donate it. My daughter sold it instead. Even though my husband is a great gardener, apparently we don't need to clean anything. You really do come up with great suggestions though!
ReplyDeleteI will need another garage to store all these items I would love! My husband LOVES power washers.
ReplyDeleteOh yea, I'm all over this list! Don't forget the poison ivy soap!

ReplyDeleteOh my girlfriend...I think we might need to collaborate on a post we are pondering about the garage gadgets the "misters" bought that they regret but would never admit to us in charge! Good laugh for a Monday morning!-Laurel
ReplyDeleteMy spring gardening will be lost in the move shuffle this year, but I'm hoping for year round gardening in Florida. I will definately need that sun hat :-)
ReplyDeleteDon't you love it when gardening season starts? Some wonderful items here! Love the little clogs! Precious!!! And...the darling Sheltie....wish I had her! Enjoy your week Katie!
ReplyDeleteThat t-shirt!!! One thing, though...in our house the DAILY forecast includes wine. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove all your gardening tips! Wish I had a genie to clean up all the leaves that never got scooped in the fall! Excited to see everything greening up!
ReplyDeleteHi Dear,
ReplyDeleteMy husband is obsessed with Amazon. He would buy anything and everything form it. xoxo
A Mr. who cooks and gardens!! You scored big time, Katie. Sadly, we kill anything that's green so we let other people take care of the yard...

Oh, my goodness, our Hubby's could be brothers when it comes to yard work. Have mercy, mine loves this time of year. Now, cooking, not so much! I'll show him your post and see if he needs/wants any of these that he doesn't already have. Great list!
ReplyDeleteNO GADGETS..............I have the basics...............I could use THAT kneeling pad however......
ReplyDeleteTHE T SHIRT is right up OUR ALLEY!!!!!!!!!!

So many great gardening ideas! The gardening clogs are cute and practical.
ReplyDeleteI can't figure out if I'm lucky or unlucky that my husband rarely has met a gadget he wanted to own.
Katie, you and the Mister are all set! Funny how men love their gadgets!
ReplyDeleteI think those clogs are adorable and I like your Mrs. Cleaver gloves! If we are going to work in the garden we may as well look great!
I LOVE this post. Your mister and I have some of the same wants! I am going to check out those digging gloves! My mister is glad to help but doesn't reall LOVE gardening. I am getting my second hip replacement in a few weeks so my mister is pretty much in charge...and boy do we have work with all this rain!
