Weddings Wednesdays

Welcome back to Wedding Wednesday!  This is the second-half of short and tea-length wedding dresses.

Vera Wang
This would be great for a dressy rehearsal dinner, too.

Karen Willis Holmes
Cute vintage looking dress.  She should sue her hairdresser.

So Carolina Polo Prep
Love everything about this picture.  If you are a KD, like my #2, these would make great bridesmaids dresses.

Looks like me from the back in my dreams. Gorgeous lace.

Great dress to dance in!

Va va va Vooom!!! You'd have to have her legs to wear this one.

Wedding Inspiration
Not crazy about this veil with the dress.

  1. Love them all-HATE the orange hair and the girl with the shoes? LOVE her dreamy dress! They are all gorgeous- xo Diana

  2. Love the 5th dress, very classic & swingy! (is that a word)? For some reason, I really like full and tulle, maybe it's that princess syndrome! My Kate hates tulle and DOES Not want to be a princess! (Her dress is A-line).

  3. I love seeing so many dresses with at least a hint of a sleeve. The poor girl with the carrot-red hair should, indeed, sue her hairdresser! At least her dress is gorgeous!

  4. My 30th anniversary is coming up and how I would love the little dress you deemed 'darling'. I wonder what I'd wear if I were to do it all over again, but to the same groom. :)

  5. KATIE MY DEAR! HELLO! I will always love and wear this length of dress because I look good in it. I believe in wearing what looks good on you! And love the pup at the end! thheehehehhhehee

Thank you so much for perusing my other blog! It is a very quiet blog, just a place to put my DRAFTS for poetry assignments. My husband and I had so much fun this summer as we both enrolled in the same writing course at The Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis. So your daughter is an English major? I hope she enjoys FREE VERSE, which is the class I took. Poetry is NOT easy to write, but it has taught me so much that I want to continue to explore.

Well, I'm a French teacher, and I go back to school the day after Labor Day! I go in today for a meeting with colleagues, so summer is almost over!

Wishing you a lovely day....see you again soon! Anita

  6. I thought your comment on the bride wearing the lampshade was funny until I saw the dog with one. You crack me up, which is why I like to start the day with you.
