Hello, I'm Katie
I'm Katie. Welcome to my blog. I am an empty nester meandering through my midlife years one page at a time. We sold our antique home on the South Shore of Massachusetts in October 2020 and relocated to the Dallas suburbs and our forever home.
I love to write about books, movies, TV, celebrities, shopping, decorating, Bravo, and weekend adventures. My favorite writing material, however, is derived from my family: the Mister, my girls, #1 and #2, my favorite son-in-law, and my new little mischief-maker, thoroughly darling Millie. I love hearing from my wonderful readers.

Love them all-HATE the orange hair and the girl with the shoes? LOVE her dreamy dress! They are all gorgeous- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteLove the 5th dress, very classic & swingy! (is that a word)? For some reason, I really like full and tulle, maybe it's that princess syndrome! My Kate hates tulle and DOES Not want to be a princess! (Her dress is A-line).

I love seeing so many dresses with at least a hint of a sleeve. The poor girl with the carrot-red hair should, indeed, sue her hairdresser! At least her dress is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMy 30th anniversary is coming up and how I would love the little dress you deemed 'darling'. I wonder what I'd wear if I were to do it all over again, but to the same groom. :)
ReplyDeleteKATIE MY DEAR! HELLO! I will always love and wear this length of dress because I look good in it. I believe in wearing what looks good on you! And love the pup at the end! thheehehehhhehee
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for perusing my other blog! It is a very quiet blog, just a place to put my DRAFTS for poetry assignments. My husband and I had so much fun this summer as we both enrolled in the same writing course at The Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis. So your daughter is an English major? I hope she enjoys FREE VERSE, which is the class I took. Poetry is NOT easy to write, but it has taught me so much that I want to continue to explore.
Well, I'm a French teacher, and I go back to school the day after Labor Day! I go in today for a meeting with colleagues, so summer is almost over!
Wishing you a lovely day....see you again soon! Anita
I thought your comment on the bride wearing the lampshade was funny until I saw the dog with one. You crack me up, which is why I like to start the day with you.
ReplyDeleteI think that this is one of my most favorite days - I love looking at dresses and weddings. You find the bet pictures. sandie
