Hello, dear friends. I hope that this post finds you well. Last weekend, we met The Adorables, otherwise known as our Adorable Jonathon's parents for dinner. Do you know the term for your child's spouse's parents? I looked it up. They are parents-in-law. You heard it here first.
We went to Hudson House, which is one of our favorites. We had such a wonderful time. I am already setting up another date with them for April.
It's the first Tuesday of the month which means one thing. I am linking up with my buddy, Tanya at The Other Side of the Road. Bloggers gather there to share their purchases on Amazon for the month.
I have every size tablecloth except the one that I need for the patio table.
My friend, Kellyann raved about these drops. No question about it - they take the red out.
The description of these readers said that they are look likes for Oprah's specs.
I don't care about looking like her, I just want her to share her dough with me.
I'll keep looking to see if there is a link for that.
I miss Gene's Vitamin E Cream but this one is a serious contender.
Our plastic bag drawer got a makeover.
Millie's got some chompers on her.
She loves soft toys like this one but destroys them in seconds.
I found this one which had high reviews for being practically indestructible. We've had this guy for a couple of weeks now and he still is sporting all his bits and pieces.
I keep this chew toy in Millie's crate crib to keep her busy and because it is choke-proof.
This is a reorder. It smells delish and limits her scratching.
This is Millie's favorite toy.
She carries it around with her all day long.
When Chowdah came to visit, this bully buddy was a bone of contention between the two of them.
No pun intended.
I ordered another one for Chowdah which brought peace to the household.
These are much cheaper than bully sticks.
I use this longer leash for the park.
Millie's favorite color is pink.
The days are getting warmer so I ordered a couple of these.
One of my favorite Instagrammers said that we all should be using velvet hangers so I ordered some.
Any guess on how long it will take me to begin the project of changing them out?
Do I hear three to five years?
I just finished listening to this book.
It is about a blogger who writes under an assumed name.
She spills the beans about all the dirty secrets in her small town.
I chuckled throughout the pages.
The Mister's Orders
The Mister is attempting to teach Millie to give him her paw.
We've gone through a full bag and still no paw.
We were down to our last one.
With the Mister's motto "be prepared" he ordered a couple more as a backup.
We have a digger in our midst!
This little gem has kept Millie away from her cherished spots.
The Mister tried this brand at his club.
He liked it so much he bought some for home.
The Mister had to throw all of his t-shirts away because the washer turned them pink.
If you are wondering, I do the laundry.
I told him that no one will notice.
He begged to differ.
Last but not least, it's the first of the month which means Prime members can get a free book. Click here to read about all your choices!
Until next time...

I enjoyed looking at all of your awesome Amazon Purchases. I like those Oprah glasses!
ReplyDeleteMillie! I get up with Chloe and Elliott so my (first) husband can get his beauty sleep. We started an expensive habit of buying the marrow bones at Sprout. As the snow recedes from the icy north facing yard it looks like a boneyard in the back. I did not realize AJ parents lived in Dallas! Oh we are still waiting on engagement news. xo laura
ReplyDeleteI love my velvet hangers - I've had them for 20 years.
ReplyDeleteI use a Color Catcher sheet in the wash and have zero color transfer when I do laundry. I reuse them until they are dark.
Color Catcher? Never heard of it. I guess I know what's the first thing on my Amazon list for next month!
DeleteIt's always fun to see what other purchase from Amazon!

Hi Katie,
ReplyDeleteLooks like we are going to have a beautiful weekend. We are headed to the banks of the Colorado River…a get together with my sisters. Sounds like you had a nice dinner with the in laws. We supposedly have a Hudson House opening down the street from us. Looking forward to it!. Let us know how you like the hangers. They keep clothes from slipping, but I like to slip things off of a hanger and they don’t slide off of those.. Enjoy your week. Janey
Katie! Thank you SO much for sharing that Prime members get two free books on the first of the month! I had no idea!!!! I just picked two of the list now. (Is it just two from the list of 6 they share on that page... want to know for future.) Also, I want that ziplock baggie organizer! Way prettier and more functional. Added that book about the blogger to my list of to reads too. :) Hope you are doing well! I am WAY behind on reading any of my favorite blogs.
ReplyDeleteLots of good finds. My book stack keeps getting bigger and bigger while my time to read keeps getting smaller and smaller. When they all fall on me maybe I will take action and put on my reading glasses. Let me know if you get a link to Oprah's money. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteThat book sounds adorable!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Millie was the big winner this month! I hope she enjoys getting Amazon deliveries as much as humans do!
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked the eye drops, I cannot believe how well they work.
That jam looks like something I'd love! Is there anything Amazon can't do?
xo,
Kellyann
I also love the eye drops - really brightens up my whole appearance! Thanks so much for linking up with Prime Purchases!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love your bag holders! I've enjoyed mine so much and love opening the drawer their in just to see them all lined up. :o)) Yes, to Lumify and to Affresh as well. Now, let me go and check out that top.
ReplyDeleteAlways fun, Katie, and I'm going back to check out a few things. No dogs here but those are great ideas!! Thanks for the fun!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds, Katie ... and I stopped to order the book mid-post. Couldn't wait! Love the tablecloth. And my dogs are loving several things they see here. They can be so demanding. Happy day! xo
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about Amazon first reads. Thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteMy husband (the OCD neat freak) ordered 200 velvet hangers from Amazon without my knowledge, just for my closet. Then one day, I heard noises....he was personally changing out the wire and plastic hangers for the new ones. EVERY garment went on the new hangers, with a few extras. Now, months later, I can tell you that I have rehung all my sweaters, as the velvet hangers make serious "dents" in the shoulders which do NOT disappear. If you don't want these "shoulder bumps" in your clothes, you have to make sure you align the seams of your blouses and dresses perfectly on the hangers. I personally think those plastic hangers you get from the store when you purchase something are great...but mine have now been recycled.
