Hello, dear friends. I hope that you are enjoying your Sunday. We are off to do some returns today and grab a little lunch.
The Mister hasn't figured out the whole return gig I have going. I walk into the store with one bag and walk out with a few more. I tell him I ran into a BOGE sale... buy one get eight sale.
Today, I am linking up with my friend, Bev for Sunday Stealing. Feel free to play along and leave your answers in the comment sections.
1. Do you like sushi?
you like
Hai
2. What color is your car?
Silver to match my roots.
3. What is your favorite thing about the place where you live?
I live in a charming village that is modeled after a Croatian village. The houses are made of stone and each is unique on the exterior as well as the interior.
The streets in the village are cobblestone. It houses a wedding chapel, as well as a few restaurants, shops, and a wine bar.
What's not to love?
4. Are there brands of certain items that you will ONLY buy that brand? i.e. paper towels, ketchup etc.
The only thing that I am picky about is my paper towels.
It's the quicker picker-upper!
5. Are you allergic to any food? Animals? Plants? Medicines?
6. Have you ever been stung or bitten by an animal?
I've been stung by a bee a couple of times.
I have had my share of puppy nips, as well.
7. Do you have a favorite bird?
Do you feed the bird at your house or the park?
I love mourning doves because they mate for life. It was not until yesterday when I googled them that I realized that it was mourning as opposed to morning doves. Now that I have whet your appetite, here are 13 fascinating facts about mourning doves.
8. What would you recommend binging on Netflix or similar?
I loved every minute of this series.
9. What is your proudest achievement?
Raising my girls to be lovely, independent young women who are setting the corporate world on fire.
Oh yeah, the Mister helped too.
Btw, I am not biased at all.
10. Do you have or are you from a big family?
I come from a small family which is fine with me.
There are fewer people to bicker with.
11. What do you do for exercise?
I like to walk
and...
12. What would be your favorite breakfast? (You didn’t have to cook it yourself.)
I am partial to a fried egg sandwich with plenty of bacon.
13. Is there an item that you really want but can not afford?
A chauffeur.
I have no patience for traffic.
14. What was the farthest distance you made for your holidays?
If you haven't been there, I highly recommend making the trip.
15. Are you afraid of speaking in public?
I don't know, no one has ever asked me to give a speech. I think that I would be pretty good though because the Mister tells me that I lecture a lot.
Feel free to answer along with me in the comments.

ReplyDeleteI used to do the Bounty thing BUT the Costco brand is excellent! Worth a try!
Have a good Sunday!
Will do! Thanks for the tip!
DeleteMy favorite thing about where I live are the neighbors I used to have ! I forget most of the questions but …definitely Dawn dish liquid
ReplyDeleteIs your neighborhood for real? That is beautiful! Loved your answers! Have a nice day!

I loved "After Life" too.
ReplyDeleteMy mother had a hanging planter on her porch right outside her living room and doves raised babies there for several ears until the cats discovered they were there. I loved watching the eggs hatch and the babies grow until they learned to fly.
You are so funny!! I howled when I saw that walk and almost fell out of my chair trying to show my husband.
ReplyDeleteAs lovely as the village looks, I find the values of the chapel troublesome.
ReplyDeleteLovely neighborhood. (Your link from Sunday Stealing goes to a different page, btw).
ReplyDeleteWow,so many questions for a Sunday...haha. I am just AMAZED at your neighborhood. Who wouldn't want to live there!
ReplyDeleteQuestion about being stung...It had started to rain and I had two very large planters by our front door under a portico and they really needed water. So I grabbed one with the intent of pulling it to where it would catch the rain. I felt the pain of the hornets stinging me even before I saw them. There was a hornet's nest under the rim of the planter where I couldn't see it and I had grabbed it. At least 25 hornets were stinging my hand and arm. Needless to say...I'm still here...I HATE hornets!
OMG! That sounds like my worst nightmare! So glad that you are here to tell about it!
DeleteThanks for the info about Mourning Doves! We have a pair that visits our bird feeder daily and I love the sweet coo-ing that I hear. Also LOVE your car!! Woot Woot. Wouldn't that be a blast to drive?
ReplyDeleteI, too, am allergic to codeine! Yuck!! I love your little village. I think it would be such a cool place to live. I don't think we have anything like that in Alabama. We live in a "planned" neighborhood with sidewalks and parks and a pond and it is pretty cool but you even have cool streets!!
ReplyDeleteComing here always makes for a very fun visit! Thanks for the giggles! I had no idea about the morning/mourning doves. They are lovely birds! Your girls are beautiful. Have a great week ahead, Katie! xo
ReplyDeleteI too love the After Life. I am not done with it yet. We started the 4th season of Killing Eve and it went a little off the rails in the first two episodes. Happy Monday! laura
ReplyDeleteI feel like you must be the BEST person to go to lunch/dinner with...you would keep me laughing the entire meal!
ReplyDeleteYou always put a smile on my face when I read! :) Thanks!
With a fierce snow approaching, a sweet dove mama built a quick nest and laid one egg in the seat of one our patio chairs. I tried to craft a shelter before the snow and scared mama away. Egg and nest were snowed in. She returned after the melt (egg gone??) and looked like she would lay another egg. So far none. I do see the pair cuddling in the nearby tree. My hopes are that we will have repeat expectations this spring.
ReplyDeleteI think that I'm the only person who does not enjoy sushi.
ReplyDeleteI like Bounty paper towels, except when cleaning glass/mirrors with Windex, because they are thick and leave a lot of streaks and lint behind. Cheap paper towels work better for these tasks.
Your blog is joy to read even at 1:25 AM. And, if that is your neighborhood, what a great idea and I would never want to leave. Thanks again for a fun read.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy these posts.
ReplyDeleteThank you,
Karen
