Preppy Empty Nester

I'm Katie. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am an empty nester meandering through my middle-aged years while entangled in the never-ending process of renovating an antique home on the South Shore of Massachusetts. I love to write about books, movies, TV, celebrities, decorating, and weekend adventures. My favorite writing material is derived from my family: the Mister, my girls, #1 and #2, and my two untrainable, rambunctious pups, Chowdah and Chili.

Hello, I'm Katie

I'm Katie. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am an empty nester meandering through my midlife years one page at a time. We sold our antique home on the South Shore of Massachusetts in October 2020. We relocated to Dallas and have been spending our time searching for our Forever Home. I love to write about books, movies, TV, celebrities, decorating, and weekend adventures. My favorite writing material, however, is derived from my family: the Mister, my girls, #1 and #2, my favorite son-in-law, and my two untrainable, rambunctious pups, Chowdah and Chili. Ha! My girls too. Great for hand-eye coordination, and motor skills. However, I think at least one of mine has taken it to a whole other level...Red Solo Cup...just saying...funny how games played as a child emerge in a different form in college! LOL
ReplyDeleteOh those dogs! I never heard of cup stacking either, thanks for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Karolyn
That was fantastic! I'm not sure East coast schools do that. My gym classes were rigorous and when the bell rang, we always had to run around the field one more time before showers. Cup stacking looks like so much more fun.
ReplyDeleteLOL- My grandgirls do that, too. So funny! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to find out what you are up to. It's certainly not cup stacking!
ReplyDeleteThere is a great scene in the movie Pitch Perfect in which Anna Kendrick sings this song and does an AMAZING cups routine. Love it! And as Simply LKJ says, certainly a more innocent use of the iconic red solo cup!
