I hope that you had a good weekend. I had a great time on Friday with my #2, enjoying my Christmas gift from my #2. We had fabulous facials at the Hiatus Spa. I really hit it off with my aesthetician, Monica - she was great. I left with sparkling skin and a few book recommendations. I was then treated to lunch at Hudson House, a fan favorite. Saturday, I met my pals Paige and Cynthia at Lover's Seafood. I had never been there before. The food was great, and the company was even better.
We celebrated #1's birthday at il Bracco. This is the place that serves the Olive Oil Sundae. It was a good time had by all.
We watched The Holdovers and absolutely loved it! We also caught the first episode of All Creatures Great and Small. We also watched a few episodes of Storefront Stories.
Today, I am joining my friend, Tanya, for her Prime Purchases link-up. The list is a little longer than usual because I skipped a couple of months. Stop by to see what other great finds my fellow bloggers have come across.
My favorite buy of the year. I am always struggling to open something encased in plastic. This does the trick with no elbow grease from moi. It also has a box cutter and a screwdriver. It's a Christmas Miracle!!
Another lifesaver is this little fold-up step stool.
When you're 5'2", about 85% of the world is out of reach.
I saw a video of these being used, and it looked great.
Who knew that the lady using it wasn't included?
One of the Mister's "toys."
The Mister loves his slippers even though they are not in the "toy" category.
I have finally found petite jammie bottoms!
And the best yet... they have deep pockets, and they are sooo comfy!
These stuffed animals are made by Kong and are practically indestructible. They are sold in twos, so Lemmie got one too. Both are still in one piece, and Millie loves her little bear.
I wouldn't mind if the squeaker ran out of juice...
I bought this for my bud, KTG, and she loves it.
Every year, after taking down the Christmas decorations, I feel the need to spiff up some rooms. This year it's the MBR. There are lots of cute patterns to choose from.
I did a little organizing my makeup arsenal under my sink, and they fit perfectly.
The Mister was alarmed when these arrived.
He thought it was for a DYI boob job.
They are silicone shoulder pads, and they give a minor lift to my sagging shoulders.
A beauty secret from Sista.
Very pleased with this chargeable travel makeup mirror.

I bought a set of these because a beauty influencer convinced me I needed them. They are great for applying eye cream and concealer.
I bought our little granddaughter a few dresses, so I put them on baby hangers.
There are about 5 steps to cleaning the coffee maker with vinegar. This seems much quicker.
Nobody does it better than OxiClean for washing whites!
Yes, we are still trying to train Millie.
These work!
We can now welcome guests to our home again!
The Mister went from skeptic to believer after the first use!
The Mister now uses these to protect from freezing on the outside hose bibs.
Best two-time savers when Katie says, "Mister, when you have a minute."
The Mister thinks this is the best invention since the hammer.
Alexa is in charge of us!
I am not allowed to touch any lamp in the house!
Do you have any favorite buys on Amazon?
I'd love to hear them.

ReplyDeleteSuch a great picture! I had to chuckle as I (we) already have 5-6 of the items you have listed. The stool (it's in our pantry), the pain patch (Hubby's back), the air duster, etc. Great minds think alot. Now I'm about to go get that cutter gadget and a couple of other items. I need more in my cart. Crazy! Oh, well, Amazon just makes it too easy.
ReplyDeleteHi Katie! I got my Katie the makeup mirror for Hanukkah - along with a few other beauty items recommended by you and your #1- and she loves it all! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteOK Katie, the silicone shoulder pads just arrived but with no instructions -- help! Do I stick the sticky side on my skin? 🤪 Doesn't that feel sort of awful?
ReplyDeleteIt seems like you had a wonderful weekend full of memorable adventures! It must have been revitalizing to get facials at Hiatus Spa and dine at Hudson House. Monica, the esthetician, sounds like a wonderful person! I could use some of that relaxation, especially after hours of dissertation help research.
