Hello, dear friends. How's life treating you? All is well around here.
I promised you a peek into our master bedroom. I included links with each photo. Also, the paint color is Aleutian Blue by Sherwin Williams. We used it in Massachusetts as well.
As I have mentioned in a past post and on Instagram, I am partnering with Boll & Branch, who make luxurious bed linens. Our daughter and son-in-law sang the praises of the sheets, so a few months ago, the Mister and I took the plunge, and we were hooked.
We waited forever for this bed which is now on sale. I am happy to report that it was definitely worth the wait. And the best part, the nice delivery men put it together.
We both thought that we would probably not see it for a while, if at all, due to the circumstances. A week later, the box arrived. This wreath means so much more to me knowing its origin.
The Mister found these prints. He is very proud of himself. The best part was that they came framed.
The lamps came from Homegoods about a hundred years ago.
This console has plenty of room.
Don't tell the Mister, but this is my secret hiding place for all my shopping buys. I keep them tucked away for at least two days. Then, when the Mister asks me if I am wearing something new, I can honestly say no.
The top prints are from Etsy.
And I had them framed at Hobby Lobby which always does a good job.
The room turned out wonderful. Some things are worth the wait. The wreath is so pretty and perfect in that spot. It will serve as a reminder to pray for the Ukrainians. Oh and the dog bed. Just perfect.
ReplyDeleteYou have exquisite taste! I wish I could have night stands that large, but our old house just doesn't have big enough rooms, and also has old windows that extend farther down, breaking up the wall space a lot. That "dog bed" is amazing. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteYour bedroom is gorgeous! I love all the color and that adorable dog bed! And you reminded me I need some new sheets! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteShelley

ReplyDeleteGood job, girlfriend!! And makes me chuckle that your mr. helps you decorate…mine would say bedroom? What bedroom????
Hugs…jmac
LOVE LOVE LOVE THE BED! It is just gorgeous and well worth the wait. I bet you are thrilled that the room is done...as if anything is ever really done....lol.
ReplyDeleteThat dog bed/crate is just great! A piece of furniture in itself! Lucky pup! xo Diana
Oh I love that giant console/entertainment unit! What beautiful pieces and that wall color is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteYour bedroom is simply beautiful! I love the color, the bed and the bedside tables. And your “hiding place” is wonderful but the best is the sweet baby’s palace! Surely you keep the door closed though, right?😂😂😂
ReplyDeleteOf course, along with an armed guard. Thank you for commenting and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
DeleteLovely bedroom. Love the blue and white. I have the lamps from the most exquisite store………Home Goods!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnother Homegoods homie! I love it. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
DeleteThis is my new favorite room. You did an incredible job with everything but I have favorites. The bed, the wreath, the wall color, and the doggie “crib”! The sheets you can almost feel. Can I ask how the bed is made? It makes you want to slide in and stay…..
ReplyDeleteThanks so much. Not sure about your question - sheets, waffle blanket, duvet, and heather blanket as an accent. I hope that you have a great Thanksgiving! Thank you so much for your sweet words.
DeleteIt looks just terrific, Katie! And you even have a bed buddy who looks like he belongs there!
ReplyDeleteHi Katie,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, everything tired out so nice. Give yourself a big pat on the back.
Wow, her Ladyships crib is even pretty. I can tell she has you wrapped around her paws. It’s nice to see fur parents take such excellent care of their fur children.
Beautiful, Katy?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful master bedroom! And that is the fanciest dog crate I've ever seen. Happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Millie likes her crate but not nearly as much as our bed. Happy Thanksgiving!
DeleteLove your new bedroom and of course especially the wreath. In the spirit of thanksgiving ( even though it’s not a NZ holiday) I’m thankful that I can comment on blogs from my iPad again. So many comments typed that have just disappeared! It also means I can let you know how much I enjoy your blog. I often laugh out loud at your writing! Hope you have a great holiday with your family. Anne in NZ
ReplyDeleteAnd I am thankful for Anne in NZ!! I am with you on the ipad thing - I use it in the evening to comment on blogs and it is so frustrating when my comment goes down the tubes. Thank you so much for you thoughtful words.
DeleteHi Katie,
ReplyDeleteI have been following your blog for about a year or two and love it. I relate to many things you wright about, which I find fun. I live on the Massachusetts south shore and assume it’s not far from where you lived. I also loved shopping at Buttonwood book store. Anyway, keep on posting!
With a beautiful name like Maureen I am not surprised to hear that you live in the Irish Riviera! I wish that I had met you while I was there. Next time you are in Buttonwood, tell the gag that I send my best! Happy Thanksgiving!
DeleteYour bedroom is gorgeous, Katie, and thanks for giving us links for your finds. Beautiful choices!! xo
ReplyDeleteYour room looks wonderful, I love the bedding! I have those Boll & Branch sheets on my wish list!

ReplyDeleteKatie, Trophy wife, mother, blogger AND now model?!! You truly are a Renaissance Woman! We love our B and B sheets and they make a great Christmas gift with your discount. The gift that keeps on giving. Love your master suite and wondering where you got those beautiful pagoda prints? So THANKFUL for each and every post. 🥰
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving! KTG
Love love your bedroom! So pretty. Your decorating talent just continues to amaze me every day!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully decorated bedroom! Love the Home Goods items. Got a chuckle out of your "home away from home." I can relate, although you reminded me, I haven't been there for awhile! Will have to correct that!
