Too bad I couldn't major in it - I would have been a scholar.
2. Do you like roller coasters?
Not at all. When we were little, my Dad took us to a theme park and told us that we couldn't go on any rides until we gave the roller coaster a whirl. I hated every minute of it.
When I exited, I walked over to my Dad, and I threw up all over his shoes.
He never told me to ride a rollercoaster again.
3. Do you like scary movies?
I am not a fan of horror or sci-fi.
I do enjoy an old-fashioned thriller.
My favorites are the ones that my boyfriend, Cary, stars in.
4. Do you like shopping?
Shopping is my cardio.
5. Do you like to talk on the phone?
I like talking on the phone a lot more than texting.
By the time I finish a text, I forget who I was texting.
6. Do you sleep with the lights on or off?
Off!
And if there is the slightest beam of light, I wear a sleep mask.
I can (sometimes) name that tune in two notes, especially if it's a broadway tune.
11. Have you ever been in the hospital?
I've been in the hospital three times; two pregnancies and one wisdom tooth removal. Believe it or not, I spent more time in the hospital for the wisdom teeth than for both births put together.
12. What color mostly dominates your wardrobe?
Blue and white dominate in the warm months.
In the colder months, my closet is a sea of black and grey.
13. What’s your most expensive piece of clothing?
My Mother's mink coat.
Btw... I don't get a lot of wear out of it in Texas.
14. Have you ever had braces?
Yes, I did.
But you would never know it because I never wore my retainer.
And to all my wonderful readers who are Mothers or Mothers in their hearts, this one is for you.
Until next time...

I can’t believe there were no seatbelts or other types of restraints on the roller coaster ride!! Yikes! I’m glad safety standards have improved over the years! PS. Want the details of the scrumptious dinner! I would love to be married to a chef. My dear husband can’t even tell when the strawberries are fermented.
OMG! The Mister definitely outdid himself on that meal. And, he does so well on the presentation. Wow! Loved your answers to the questions. We just got home from Atlanta or I would have participated in todays Sunday Stealing but........ Have a wonderful week!
We have something in common. I, too, had my wisdom teeth removed in the hospital and also spent a couple of nights there!! That meal looks amazing. I imagine you don't get a lot of wear out of your mink coat in Texas. Several of my friends have mink coats but in Alabama, they might get to wear it once every two or three years.
Twins … almost every response! I am considering Invisalign! I do not have my mother’s mink stole…I don’t even know how my mother came to own the stole. I did get a fox stole that belonged to her, but it creeped me out even to have it in my house…it looked at me. Beemie
These are great! My father used to force me to ride the roller coasters too and I hated every minute of it... funny enough I do enjoy them now as an adult.
I'm Katie. Welcome to my blog. I am an empty nester meandering through my midlife years one page at a time. We sold our antique home on the South Shore of Massachusetts in October 2020 and relocated to the Dallas suburbs and our forever home.
I love to write about books, movies, TV, celebrities, shopping, decorating, Bravo, and weekend adventures. My favorite writing material, however, is derived from my family: the Mister, my girls, #1 and #2, my favorite son-in-law, and my new little mischief-maker, thoroughly darling Millie. I love hearing from my wonderful readers.
