Katie's Q & A

Hello, dear friends.  Do you miss that hour of sleep yet?  I do, and I've only been awake for twenty minutes.

Do you enjoy browsing consignment shops?  I love it, and I think I may be converting the Mister.  We visited our share of furniture stores and consignment shops yesterday.  The Mister spied a gorgeous desk in one of the consignment shops.  He liked it so much that he canceled the one he ordered online.

Today, I am linking up with my friend, Bev Sykes, who asks the questions on Sunday Stealing.

1 Do You Sleep With Your Closet Doors Open Or Closed?

How do I know?
My eyes are closed.

2 Do You Have Freckles?

Yes, I have plenty of freckles.
However, my dermatologist refers to them as age spots.

3 Can You Whistle?

You betcha.

4 Last Song You Listened To.

This jingle just played on TV.

5 Name Something That Relaxes You.

Vino.

6 What Sounds Are Your Favourite?

My girls' laughter.

7 What Do You Wear To Bed?

I'd like you to think I look like this.

Unfortunately, my mirror tells a different story.

8 Do You Sing In The Shower?

I feel the acoustics in the car are better for my range.

9 What Books Are You Reading?

10 Do You Believe In Magic?

Not this kind.

This
kind.

11 Can You Curl Your Tongue?

Curling the tongue is for sissies.
Sticking it out displays intelligence.

12 Have You Ever Caught A Butterfly?

I have not, but we did have a butterfly garden last time we lived in Texas.
I highly recommend planting one.

13 Name One Movie That Made You Cry.

Only one?
I have seen this movie hundreds of times, and I have cried like a baby every.single.time.

14 Peanuts Or Sunflower Seeds?

Peanuts.
Sunflower seeds are for lightweights.

15 Are You A Heavy Sleeper?

Are you insinuating that I'm fat?

I have used this bronzer since I was in my 20's.
So, for approximately 20 years.

My favorite foundation during the colder months.

Until next time...

Say hello to Yvonne and her darling Ruby.

Here’s a photo of one of our rescued greyhounds, Ruby. We’ve had several greyhounds and couldn’t ask for sweeter and gentler pups. She was from a now-closed race track in Florida.

Thanks so much, Yvonne.
I am a big believer in rescuing animals.

  4. Well, this brought me some Sunday joy and some add to cart joy, lol. The age spots have me chuckling but only because I’m getting so many so I just chuckle. I love that your #1 & 2’s laughter is your favorite sound. I’m raising my vino and saying Cheers dear Katie!

  5. If you can judge a book by it's cover, I'll take The Address. You'll have to offer a review!

  7. What a fun Q&A post! When our closet was right near the bed I absolutely could not go to sleep if the doors were part way open.

  8. I love that the Mister canceled his desk order for a consigned one!! Always fun visiting with you and yours, and now the pet patrol. Ruby is adorable. I particularly love reading of a greyhound rescue. They deserve nothing but the best pampering after their abuse in racing.

  12. The 4 hanky movie that always makes me cry is "An Affair to Remember" with Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr. I have watched it so many times that I can recent almost all the dialogue.
