Father's Day Gift Ideas

Hello dear friends.  It is a wet, ugly day here on the South Sho-ah.  My flowers are loving it so I can't complain.

The weekend after next is Father's Day.  Good Morning America announced today that people are spending more on graduation presents and less on dear old Dad.  The Mister would say that that is no surprise.

I put together a short list of suggestions for Father's Day gifts.
If you use any, please send me five dollars.

For the high spirited Dad

What bootlegger of a dad wouldn't make a toast to your gift giving skills if you surprised him with this?

For the preppy, really fun dad!

For the entertaining Dad

He can hook this up to the TV to watch all of his favorite war movies and play games instead of taking care of that pesty "honeydo" list.

The Mister loves these wireless speakers.  Now, as soon as he figures out how to use the volume control, we'll be all set!

For the chef Dad

Looks like the epitome of a man's cookbook.

Dad could be the most popular guy at work if he brought this to work everyday!

Who needs a scrub brush when this robot will bring a shine to the grill?

For the beachy Dad

These cuff links are handmade and hold sand gathered from one of 1800 world famous beaches.

Since you're not giving him a beach vacation for his big day, tell him to look at his cuff links and pretend he has sand between his toes.

For the Dad who has everything

What egomaniac of a dad wouldn't love one of these?

For the camping Dad

Goal Zero Lighthouse

This is a lantern and phone charger all in one!  Now, if it had a make up mirror, I'd be all set!

For the politically correct Dad

I've got to get one of these for the Mister!

And last but not least....

Amazon

And finally, at the risk of not being very objective I can’t help but recommend Sista’s book.  While it is a business book about selling, everyone can benefit from her premise:  we will all  be more successful in business and in life if we make it about other people.  The book has gotten rave reviews and has even been selected by a University Professor to use as his text book for his communications program.

Who knows… maybe movie rights are next?  Sista and I are already scheming actresses to play us….

I think Charlize Theron is the obvious choice to play me.

Happy shopping!
