What I Bought on Black Friday

 

Hello, dear friends.  I hope that you had a good week.  The weather has been picture-perfect, so my walks have been longer than usual.  I've even enjoyed my lunch and reading on my patio.

I get lots of wonderful emails from you all.  Some of you tell me what you like about the blog, and some tell me what you don't like.  Some people ask me for one of the Mister's recipes.  

The only recipe I am asked for is my 1-point WW muffins.  Btw... did you know that WW redid their point system again?  Is anyone out there doing it?  I'd love to hear your feedback.

Anywho, I received a couple of emails from readers inquiring as to what I bought on Black Friday/Cyber Monday.  

I usually don't do a lot of shopping on Black Friday.  I always think that I can do better with the after-Christmas sales.  But last year, I got burned - my size was sold out in every item that I had my eye on. 

It's not easy wearing size quadruple zero.

So this year, I made my purchases early.

I can't give you a lot of reviews because most of the items haven't arrived yet.

That means I can buy a smaller size and feel better about myself.

I am a huge fan of Cuddl Duds.

They are warm and thin, something I strive to be someday.

Btw... I snatched a couple of these tops up at a third of the price of what Amazon is selling them for.

At least I think it was, but I was never the brightest bulb when it came to Math.

Or English. Or Science. Or French. 

Btw... they are still on sale.

True confessions: I'm lazy.

I never wash my brushes; I just wait for sales so I can ditch my bacteria-infested ones.

Sephora

Getting old stinks.

I have noticed that my eyebrow hair is getting sparser and reappearing on my upper lip.

I've never used a pomade, so I thought I might as well give it a whirl when I get a deal on it.

Any pomade believers out there?

The girls and I visited Sephora last weekend.  They had a half-price promotion on this hydrating moisturizer.  It's a light cream, and I could almost feel my dry, old skin slurp it up.

I'll definitely repurchase it.

Btw... Sephora is having a 20% off sitewide sale and 30% off Sephora brand sale now.

I received this package last night from Ulta, so I can't give you a review.  

I do have good news, though.  

Both the mascara and concealer are on sale today.
