Christmas in Williamsburg

Happy Cyber Monday, dear friends!  Hope everyone managed to get some rest after the Thanksgiving hustle.
One of my favorite  magazines, Victoria, did a beautiful spread of a couple's home in Colonial Williamsburg.  I not only love the home, the Christmas decor takes my breath away.  The homeowners also  happen to own a antique/flower shop in town called Seasons of Williamsburg.

    Gorgeous! I love Williamsburg.....so elegant. This post reminds me that I need to get seriously busy with my Christmas decorations...I feel very behind looking at how many are DONE!

    I absolutely LOVE Williamsburg at Christmas...the Williamsburg Inn knows how to do it up right and it looks like this homeowner does as well. I am such a traditionalist - this is MY kind of home! Enjoy your day, my dear! xoxo

    When I first opened the post, I just knew it was going to be your house all decorated - feeling less stressed that it was in a magazine. I just love Williamsburg - so beautiful! I'm finding myself looking more and more like the last image…

    Oh, love Williamsburg, very, very close to my birthplace, Newport News. Have family in Williamsburg and always love to go there. I love to see decorations like this but it just doesn't look like it can be "lived in" to me, so it will never happen at our house. :o)) Lovely post!

    I love Williamsburg, especially at Christmas! We have been to the Grand Illuminations a couple of times. If you ever get the chance it's worth the trip down. And, Seasons is a lovely shop. Sounds like your Thanksgiving was a success! Have a great week Katie!

    What beautiful images you have selected Katie. I haven't been to Williamsburg in many years but it was impressive. I love the citrus studded with clove. I make those every year. Speaking of shopping, I have a great giveaway going on at Stylemindchic Lifestyle this week.     I love Christmas in Willismsburg too. Some of my favorite memories are of staying in a historic house in the village and touring the houses in December. Thanks for the beautiful house tour. I'll have to look for that magazine.

    Bonjour chère Katie! I would like to make the same beautiful pomanders but it is too difficult. I couldn't comment your Thanksgiving post yesterday but your pictures with your daughters, your dogs and the snow are very nice. We spent the weekend with our children and I understand what you mean about sad goodbyes. But we are very blessed to have such families! Here in Paris it is cold and grey. I haven't brought any coat... Bonne journée, à bientôt!

    I am drooling over all of that. Our family spent Christmas in Williamsburg several years ago and I have very fond memories! Victoria magazine is one of my favorites, the photographs are always amazing.
