Preppy Empty Nester

I'm Katie. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am an empty nester meandering through my middle-aged years while entangled in the never-ending process of renovating an antique home on the South Shore of Massachusetts. I love to write about books, movies, TV, celebrities, decorating, and weekend adventures. My favorite writing material is derived from my family: the Mister, my girls, #1 and #2, and my two untrainable, rambunctious pups, Chowdah and Chili.

Hello, I'm Katie

I'm Katie. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am an empty nester meandering through my midlife years one page at a time. We sold our antique home on the South Shore of Massachusetts in October 2020. We relocated to Dallas and have been spending our time searching for our Forever Home. I love to write about books, movies, TV, celebrities, decorating, and weekend adventures. My favorite writing material, however, is derived from my family: the Mister, my girls, #1 and #2, my favorite son-in-law, and my two untrainable, rambunctious pups, Chowdah and Chili. ReplyDeleteKatie,
ReplyDeletewhat a gorgeous shop! There's on in CA, Roger's Gardens, that kind of reminds of this one. It's been in business for years and has everything you can imagine. Nothing gets you in the mood for spring like beautiful flowers, bunnies and birdhouses!
Rebecca
P.S. I've sent you an e-mail.
Love it! Wish we had a place like that here. I love those bunnies. They too would be coming home with me. Gypsy looks adorable.
ReplyDeleteHi katie,
ReplyDeleteLove Gypsy's bubble gum pink accessories - adorable makeover:)
What a wonderful nursery! It'd be addictive to shop for garden goodies there!
WHAT a very gorgeous garden shop. I love it. I can't wait until our Spring nurseries open. We can't plant outside until after Memorial Day here for fear of freezing. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteWow you are not kidding..gorgeous shop indeed!! Those bunnies are sooo cute, I would love to have those around here in the spirit of Easter!
ReplyDeletelove the garden shop, bringing hope of spring on the horizon. I have to tell you my favorite picture was of Gypsy. She is too cute, and with the bright pink accessories you won't need a flash light at night, should you need to get up.
ReplyDeleteI follow your nice blog quite a long time. It is a pleasure. Almost every time I have to laugh out loud.
ReplyDeleteThank you!!
Thank you so much for reading my blog and your kind words.
DeleteLove that shop - the bunnies and oh the clock! Gypsy looks gorgeous in pink!
ReplyDeleteKatie, Such a gorgeous nursery and I love that first picture with all of the annuals in bloom.. so pretty. Those bunnies are adorable and would look so pretty as part of any vignette. I can't wait for our local nursery to get summer flowers in. The temps are still cool here and the gray and rain keeps coming.. so tired of the mud! All of a sudden the temps will warm and it will be a feeding frenzy at our local garden store;) xxL
