The Friday Files





I hope that you had a good week. Mine began with my 38th Covid booster shot on Monday. Ok, it wasn't 38, but it felt like it. The worst part was I had a sore arm the next day so I couldn't play pickleball.

Note to self: my 39th booster goes into my left arm.





I don't think that I have to tell you what the highlight of the week was for the Mister and me. 



I bought this little preppy dress a day after we found out that her Mama was having a girl.

We had a delightful lunch at one of our favorite restaurants, il Bracco.  Il Bracco has my very favorite dessert, the Olive Oil Sundae, which is pictured at the top of the page.

    Oh, Katie! I love that preppy dress and Lucy looks so adorable in it! I clicked on the link and ordered two... one for our own Lucy (now 2 years old) and her brand new baby sister, Parker (born May 4)! I don't know if you recall an earlier comment I made this winter, but my daughter and our SIL were waiting to learn what their second child would be (as they did with Lucy). I was able to spend this Mother's Day with all my girls... our two daughters and our two granddaughters... and lots of snuggles, too! 💕
