Hello, dear friends. I hope that 2021 is treating you well. I heard from a few readers yesterday inquiring about our house hunt. To put it mildly, it's slim pickens when it comes to available homes for sale. We haven't looked at a house for a couple of weeks, although I'm online all day long.. I'm optimistic that things will turn around soon.

The Mister surprised me with these Bose sunglasses for Christmas. They are the best things since sliced bread. The sound is pitch-perfect, and no one can hear my groovy tunes except me!

The Mister is a sock nut. I bought him a box of these crazy socks, and he has worn a pair every day since he got them.
He informed me that the added bonus is that I can't mismatch his socks out of the laundry.
That doesn't keep me from losing a few, though.
I bought this for the Mister.
He wears it as often as he wears his socks.
The Mister uses this when he corresponds on his phone and iPad.
Here in Texas, the mornings are chilly, but the afternoons are mild. This is the perfect weight for a mid-day stroll.
I have a heavy puffer, but I needed something lighter.
I ordered this little number which I am very pleased with. It's a great fit and just enough warmth for temps in the 50s.
I get terrible sinus headaches.
I ordered these because I thought I would help.
It didn't.
This got great reviews.
I couldn't quite get the hang of it, though.
It could be operator trouble.
I talked about this brow tint before.
I dyed my brows 3 weeks ago, and I have yet to spot a grey hair.
I surprised the Mister with a new Kindle.
They were on backorder, and it is scheduled to arrive this weekend.
The new cover arrived in time, though.
Every time I order an expensive moisturizer, I end up going back to this one, which I have used for years. It is the best bang for your buck too.
I think I already mentioned this, but my #1 ordered this and is very pleased with it.
Btw... she is Dr. Pimple Popper's #1 fan.
The Mister claims that his tea has never tasted so good since he received his tea steeper.
I haven't used it - I'm a bag woman, myself.
I ordered a couple of these for Chili.
They are warm and well-made.
Also, they are a good price.

I'm intrigued by this blackhead sucker...lol...not sure why but in my 50's all of a sudden I seem to be having lots of under skin bumps.
ReplyDeleteI may circle back and order that sweatshirt. I got my husband one from Southern Tide, but I love this one more! I bought tht eye tint when you shared it pre christmas. Santa brought it for my first husband. My daughter got me the SLIP silk pillow from Nordstrom.It's suppose to help my face and hair! Not sure what the metric is ;0) laura

We cast a wider net and put some time into FW. But now we are concentrating on Dallas and Plano. Hopefully, the market will pick up before I am old enough to be eligible for a nursing home. Happy New Year!!

ReplyDeleteQuick question: the moisturizer you keep going back to - is it light? As old as I am - and thankfully never had much trouble with blemishes - I find my needing more moisture as I am getting older, most of them break me out. Wondering how yours is in that?

My most recent fav is the carpet cleaner - was that your daughter's purchase list? We had some "cat throw up" stains from our daughter's cat from six years ago . . .the stains are gone! Seriously!
