Pickets Is Open!!

First of all, Mea Culpa!!  Sorry about the photos not showing up on the blog yesterday.  I have no idea why.  I will confess, however, that I am not the brightest bulb when it comes to technology.  At least that's what my family tells me.

I promise to run Ruth's adorable post WITH photos once I get settled in Bean Town.  I'll have to hire some kid from Harvard to help me.

Maybe this guy is available.

Great News...

Pickets, a one of a kind garden antiques shop (a Fairfield Connecticut favorite of many) which closed  a year and a half ago is BACK!!!! November 1st was the grand opening of the Pickets holiday pop-up shop in the barn  at Greenfield Hill Nursery (my favorite nursery) .

Here is a sampling of Picket's awesome selections.

You can visit Pickets at Greenfield Hill Nursery, 1301 Bronson Road, Fairifeld, Ct.
It's open every day (except Thanksgiving and Christmas) until the end of December.

Hope today brings lovely things!

  8. What a beautiful shop! The decorations make me think of chilly fall days and really put me in the mood for holiday shopping. I still get dicombobulated thinking of Christmas shopping among the palm trees and 70 degree days of Southern California! I think another trip to MA and CT is in order!
Good luck with the packers tomorrow! Deep breaths!!
