Hello, I'm Katie
I'm Katie. Welcome to my blog. I am an empty nester meandering through my midlife years one page at a time. We sold our antique home on the South Shore of Massachusetts in October 2020 and relocated to the Dallas suburbs and our forever home.
I love to write about books, movies, TV, celebrities, shopping, decorating, Bravo, and weekend adventures. My favorite writing material, however, is derived from my family: the Mister, my girls, #1 and #2, my favorite son-in-law, and my new little mischief-maker, thoroughly darling Millie. I love hearing from my wonderful readers.

Loving the lady sticking out of the tree and the black and white checkerboard floor among other things. Wish I could go with you! Have a great life back East and think of us Texans often please.

ReplyDeleteOkay, Katie...I know you wrote this post just for me since I am in Fairfield County!! Ha ha!! Next year you will have to come down to visit the shop and we can grab lunch! I am adding this to my "must do" list!

Gorgeous! I love a beautiful shop like that, it makes all my senses come alive! I cannot believe we are seeing and talking Christmas...always exciting but super scary!
ReplyDeleteWish I lived closer. That would definitely be a place I would visit!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful shop! The decorations make me think of chilly fall days and really put me in the mood for holiday shopping. I still get dicombobulated thinking of Christmas shopping among the palm trees and 70 degree days of Southern California! I think another trip to MA and CT is in order!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the packers tomorrow! Deep breaths!!
