Hello, I'm Katie
I'm Katie. Welcome to my blog. I am an empty nester meandering through my midlife years one page at a time. We sold our antique home on the South Shore of Massachusetts in October 2020 and relocated to the Dallas suburbs and our forever home.
I love to write about books, movies, TV, celebrities, shopping, decorating, Bravo, and weekend adventures. My favorite writing material, however, is derived from my family: the Mister, my girls, #1 and #2, my favorite son-in-law, and my new little mischief-maker, thoroughly darling Millie. I love hearing from my wonderful readers.

When we gutted our place before moving in, I was unsure about the color choices we would go with. Luckily, I found the perfect blue and used it in two bathrooms and on the kitchen and mudroom ceilings. Any shade of blue is my favorite color.
ReplyDeleteLOVE blue rooms...and this is one beautiful collection. Awwwhhh and thanks for that super sweet blue and white shoutout. You know I am a big fan of this classic combination:) That last picture is sooo incredibly sweet, enjoy your weekend. Lucky you blue skies..over here more snow in the forecast, sooo sick of it! I am ready for SPRING!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, you and I have very similar tastes! Toile- blue and white- I like it with pops of red or yellow... and vintage inspired. I completely went blue in my bedroom, but we have a greenish hint to it- a water like quality to it and I adore it.
ReplyDeleteLove those blues!
ReplyDeleteBlue is beautiful. My bathroom is a subtle blue, I believe a Martha Steward color.
ReplyDeleteNew reader of your blog. Does it say something that I read every single post in one sitting while home sick? Thank you for brightening my day. I enjoyed all of your posts and wonderful sense of humor. We have much in common; baldness as a baby, blue eyes, and being mistaken for a boy...although mine continued for quite some time. My mother made me get pixie cuts until the 6th grade because she claimed my hair to be unmanageable. There may have been other solutions like, conditioner? Anyway, I found you through "Enchanted Home" and must say your blog is equally enchanting. I look forward to following your adventures.
ReplyDeleteI am going to do my living room in blue Toile. I adore Toile. I have blue Toile right now, but I am about to redecorate with it again !!!
ReplyDeleteGreat blue nice like my last house in French south 👍💙
