Baby By Design

When #2 was home a couple of weeks ago, we went to Ft. Worth to visit #1.  We are very proud that our #1 girl works part-time while attending college full-time.  She is employed at the most darling baby store named baby by design and positively loves her job.  Her boss, and owner of the store, Hilary, was kind enough to let me take some photos. My thanks to #1 who helped me write this post.

Love the store front.

The sweet owner of the store, Hilary Colia, holding up the most adorable pair of Imps & Elfs baby coral skinny jeans!

This is a Corsican crib with a BEAUTIFUL line of semi-custom bedding called Bella Notte.

Another Corsican crib with Bella Notte bedding.

This is the trendiest crib I have ever seen... I mean, Beyonce has this! Completely lucite and even more beautiful in real life.  The crib is made by Nursery Works.  The mattress pad is equally as fun (Kourtney Kardashian has this one!) and is by a company called Nook.

If you are looking for the sweetest way to neutralize your nursery, this local line called Kristaben.  The bows are absolutely fabulous! This crib is also a Corsican.

My daughter, #1's  favorite collection in the store. This set is also NurseryWorks and is part of the Uptown collection. It's sophisticated and doesn't scream "baby"!

#1 and Hilary spent hours hanging these honeycomb combs by Engel from the ceiling! The bedding in this Ouef Sparrow crib is by Auggie and is entirely hand cross-stitched.

What mother doesn't need an MZ Wallace bag to use as her diaper bag? Stylish, beautiful and incredibly well-made.

A more cost-efficient but still neutral and stylish diaper bag is by Perry Macken.  Comes in two styles, a tote and a messenger!

Another great Kourtney Kardashian must-have! This Canadian company allows  you to choose your main fabric and piping fabric! So comfortable, and the shape is beautifully contemporary.

This Dwell Studio chair has a 1950's look to it with the most beautiful curves! This one is in an ice blue linen and would look great in any nursery

This print is by SugarBoo and is stunning in real life!

Is this lamp not the sweetest?

Love the photos!

Some of the cutest little onesies  and outfits I've ever seen.

Monogrammed bibs... great gift.  Wrap one of these darling bibs around a bottle of wine with a big bow and make both Mama and baby happy.

Gracious May Baby Moccasins!

What is it about baby shoes that even though I don't have a baby or know anyone that is having one, I still want to buy them?

#1, Hilary, and MK

If you are having a baby or know someone who is, stop in or hop over to the website of  baby by design.  And if you talk to #1... tell her that her Mama sent you!

The best part of Mondays is that in four days it will be Friday!  Have a good one.

  6. It's not easy to work and carry a full load of classes!! Good for her! What an adorable store. The Belle Notte is gorgeous. I have some on my bed and I put it in my daughters room years ago. Those monogrammed bibs are so cute and I like the art work! So cute! There are so many fun options for new parents. The accessories have moved from little girl polka dot to very chic.. some of the diaper bags look like designer bags and the strollers have room have room for all of mom's needs too.

    Happy Monday Katie!

  11. Nowadays, an infant apparel architect is no more limited to outlining infant garments that comply with child garments guidelines as far as usefulness and materials utilized. They can take it a step higher by testing and coordinating style with capacity and utilizing extravagant materials, for example, cashmere or angora.
