House Tours, Anyone?

Did you have a good weekend?  Ours was delightful.  One night, we met some friends for dinner.  The next day we enjoyed a delicious lunch at one of our favorite places, Hudson House.

They make the best chips and avocado dip in the whole world!  Btw... they don't call it guacamole.  I commented to our lovely server, Sonya, how much I loved the chips, and she sent me home with a doggy bag filled to the brim.

My hips thank her.

I had a delicious tuna salad while the Mister watched his waistline by noshing on a big ol' club sandwich and fries.

Both were delicious, as always.

Miss Millie is flying solo this week because my #2 is not traveling.  Chowdah is back enjoying the city life.

Cara Delevingne

I watched the Oscars despite not seeing many of the nominated movies.  This was my favorite dress.  What was yours?

On Sunday, I indulged my addiction of the day.  Sometimes I binge Real Housewives seasons; other times, it is true crime shows like 20/20 or Dateline.  Or if I need a boost, I will watch seasons of Seinfeld, or Everybody Loves Raymond

This weekend I scrolled through house tours of a few of my favorite designers on youtube.  Before I knew it, I found myself 10 feet down a rabbit hole and loved every minute of it.

I picked out some of my favorites for you.

After watching this Dallas house tour, my addiction took hold.  This is Cathy Kincaid, one of my favorite designers and I am in love with her house and her dress.

And, of course, I could not miss Cathy Kincaid's charming Christmas Home Tour.

Here is Ceara Donnelly's Christmas tour of her Charleston, SC home, which was quite pretty.

This is the magnificent Miriam Manzo house tour.
Fifty people could live comfortably in this manse.
Love the butler's pantry.

And this is Miriam's tour of her Pizza House.
Yup, you heard me - Pizza House.

Stunning.

This is Cece Barfield's NYC apartment tour.

Tres chic in a limited space.

If you are a person that appreciates a neutral palate, designer Caroline Willis' home is right up your alley.  It is the epitome of casual elegance.

Happy Pi Day!
In honor of this special day, here is a recipe for this strawberry, ginger, and honey pie.

  7. I totally forgot today was Pi day! Cara's dress is beautiful... but I didn't watch any of the Oscars to have anyone to compare it to.
