Hello, dear friends. Are you having a good weekend? The Mister and I have been running around taking care of some last-minute details before the holidays. Tomorrow we look forward to meeting some friends for a holiday lunch.
In an attempt to temper my online shopping addiction, I have been spending more time on Pinterest. It's been a while since I have indulged my appetite for some good old fashion eye candy.
I ran into my neighbor and partner-in-crime, Kathy, at the grocery store. I found her looking aimlessly at flowers. She said that she was trying to channel some divine inspiration for some centerpieces for her Christmas table. She's hosting 17, so she needs a few. I told her that Pinterest and I were back to being a couple again, and that I found a treasure trove of great ideas.
And then it hit me. Why not do a post? I found so many it turned into two posts.
As with all the beauty and creativity found on this blog, not an ounce of it came from me.

That masterpiece on the table is the extent of my artistic skill set.
I have to admit that I don’t do centerpieces because I need room for the food, glorious food! Definitely have tapers, napkin rings, Christmas Crackers and a treat.
ReplyDeleteLove so many of these because they are simple rather than formal. Perfection.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful centerpieces but don't know if I could put together one of them. :o)) Pinterest is the bomb!!! You and the Mister have a wonderful Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI was not given the gift of decorating. These are pretty cute and I think I could even do a few of them!
ReplyDeleteThank you Katie for the collection of centerpieces. I am all about presentation...maybe then they won’t criticize my cooking !
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit. I am finally home and recovering...ouch! Merry Christmas. janey
I only have room for myself on my TV tray. LOL I do love looking at what everyone else is doing though. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteThanks Kate, these are all great, my favorite is the shiny ornaments in a bowl with greens!

Love this to the max, Katie. I've used little bags for other occasion centerpieces but with the greens it's just fabulous! And so many others. Love the candy canes too. These are great fun and yes, inspiring!
ReplyDeleteNice inspiration and so timely...one more weekend of playing before the big day!
ReplyDeleteI saved a few of these great ideas for next year. Thanks for doing our research.
ReplyDeleteI love all of this, but most of all Chow's face.
