Hello, dear friends. I hope that this post finds you and yours well. All is great here because I stepped away from packing and spent some quality time with Sista in Newport. We stayed at the Hotel Viking, which is lovely and has a very hospitable staff. We had the most fabulous dinner at Bouchard. I highly recommend both places if you are ever in Newport.
This week flew by for me. Next week is our last in our house. I'm starting to get a wee bit sentimental, but I look forward to our new chapter.

At our dinner in Newport, the restaurant served the butter sprinkled with Hawaiian salt. Butter will never be the same in my book after experiencing that delicacy.

Oh I bet that time away in Newport was fabulous! We have been having such nice weather for it too. I just love that St. Thomas house. St. Thomas was my absolute favorite stop on our honeymoon and I've always wanted to go back.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post! I have so much to comment on...first of all those houses -wow! I love Rob Lowe's house and I love him too. In my opinion, there's no better looking man in Hollywood. In fact, he's even gotten better looking with age! And speaking of looks, ahhh David Bradford! I had a crush on him growing up too and he's as gorgeous as ever! What fun to see what the cast looks like now. I used to love that show and my sister and I used to pretend we were in their family. We even had a "Bless this Mess" sign in our bedroom because the Bradford girls had one in theirs. And those recipes look amazing...you're not helping me out with my corona-eating! Ha! Enjoy your weekend!

ReplyDeleteYour blog is so good it's sinful. How else to explain my challenges reading it??? First there was commenting SNAFU resolved by switching to Chrome. There I was, cruising along, commenting like a mad woman and suddenly ... slam on the brakes ... the post freeze halfway through. What?! Not a fluke, it happens post after post. The gods must disapprove of the enjoyment I get from your humor. Ugh. I so badly want to comment about Rob Lowe (he and his wife have the most fabulous taste) and Grant Goodeve (I love him too). It's unfair how good Rob and Grant look ... or should say distinguished. Ok, I'm copying this comment before the page freezes again and I lose it.
