Hello, dear friends.
How are things in your world?
Mine is brimming over with boxes and bubble wrap.
We had a wicked storm on Tuesday night. I took a pic of my hottie lawn boy, who speaks softly and carries a big stick.
There are many reasons that I am looking forward to getting back to Texas. One of which, I can usually get through the Fall and some of the Winter with just a sweater to keep me warm. I no longer have to call in the jaws of life to remove me from behind the steering wheel due to my overstuffed puffy coat.
Here are a few sweaters that have caught my eye.
By the way, many stores are having great sales.
Last year I bought a few of these sweater/coats.
For someone height-challenged, such as myself, they are very flattering.
Or at least that's what I tell my five-foot barely one-inch self.
I love color-blocking too.
I bought this in grey and black last year.
A girl can never have too many cardigans.
I love this one.
I'm so happy to be getting back to Belk territory.
This is what I call a brunch sweater.
You can eat all you want in this roomy sweater.
It makes me miss buffets.
On my must-have list.
On my best day, I could never look this good.
Sweet.
I love pockets in everything!
I am so happy that we are getting back into turtleneck season.
Goodbye turkey neck... hello turtleneck!
By the way, if you have some sweaters that need a little spiffing up, this sweater shaver works wonders.
How true!
Until next time...
I bought an adorable red puffer coat from Lands End last year and I never even put it on. I wore my LL Bean quilted barn jacket all winter. Welcome to the Sunny South!
ReplyDeleteSweater weather last about two months here, if that. Love what you found for us!! Last year it was so warm during Christmas that I couldn't even wear a Christmas sweater. Enjoy Texas!!
ReplyDeleteI am so not looking forward to coat weather. These are some really cute sweater options.
ReplyDeleteThose Talbots sweaters are so cute. That is about it for sweaters for me. It has to be something I can pull off quick.
ReplyDeleteI love all those sweaters! How nice that you won't have to deal with any more northern winters! I'll think of you next time I'm prying myself out from behind the steering wheel in my puffy down coat! Best of luck with the move!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Shelley
I am so happy to be moving into sweater weather!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your move! I though you were moving to FL?
ReplyDeleteCute! I like the military looking red one from Macy's and that rolled hem turtleneck from Amazon. The cropped one is cute too, but I can almost feel the draft just looking at it. I can almost feel a PTSD trigger just from your mention of bubble wrap and boxes too. Ugh. Hope it's going well other than the storm damage. We had summer storm damage right before our hold sold.....nothing like dropping bucks with no return, right??
ReplyDeleteThank you for the great selection of sweaters to shop! FYI, the adorable black sweater with white collar (with pearls!) and cuffs from Nordstrom is now 25% off😀
ReplyDeleteSo many cute sweaters. No, you won't need that puffer coat in Dallas, except for the rare cold front. It's still warm here too, no sweaters yet. I love the sweater with the scalloped hem and anything with a Peter Pan collar.........Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteClassy, beautiful sweaters....like you! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou never can have enough cute sweaters, especially if you live in New England!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I vowed to sit down and visit some of my favorite blogs that I haven't been to in a while. You never disappoint. I LIVE for sweater season so thank yo for helping me to do some sweater shipping this Sunday. Great picks....love your "hottie lawn boy":) Have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI love sweater weather! This year I'm going to try and knit one for myself!
ReplyDeleteLove all your sweater picks! Amazon is killing it in the fashion department. I’m barely 5’4” but love my long sweaters. Last year I bought Uggs with a wedge heel and suddenly I was a willowy 5’5”. That extra inch makes all the difference. Anyhoo ... so sorry about the storm. My biggest fear during our house sales is something going wrong during escrow. Whatever you do ... do not turn on your oven’s self clean function. Yes, there’s a story here .... I won’t bore you with it. Just trust me. xo
