A Great Day With My #1

Last week, #1 came home for a short visit and a little shopping. I have learned that the word "shopping" and "visit" are always intertwined when it comes to my girls.

Our first stop was  bloom, the most adorable shop on the square for clothes and accessories.  #1 worked there last summer and positively adores her old bosses, Kendi and Brian.

Kendi writes a very popular blog called Kendi Everyday.  She is as pretty inside as she is on the outside.

Never takes long for #1 to zero in on all the cute dresses.  You know how they call some people "helicopter parents?"  Well, I have given birth to a "helicopter shopper."

Bingo!

She's going to need 2 dressing rooms for all the cute dresses that she found.

She chose this one to meet the bf's parents.

We then hopped over to check out a new shop that just opened a couple of weeks ago.

Darling household accessories!

So sweet!

I'm so glad to see another great shop open on the Square.

We then stopped in quickly to say hello to my friend, Jimmy, at Gray Living and check out what was new since my last visit.

I fell in love with this new gray sofa.

Ought-oh... little Miss Helicopter Shopper is circling again...

Jimmy told me that this book was featured on the show Ellen.  It has the most gorgeous photos of rescue dogs.

We then met the Mister at our favorite place in the 'hood, Cavalli's for a glass of vino and a salad.

A wonderful end to an almost great day.
If # 2 was home, it would have been simply perfect!

Have a great Thursday!

Andrew Grant’s “Rover“, a museum quality, 12” x 12” 500 page hardcover book is an unbelievable tribute to man’s best friend in his many colors, shapes and sizes. With over 400 up-close images in stunning detail, Grant truly captures the unique exteriors of dozens of dogs as well as their diverse personalities and emotions. Nearly all of the dogs featured in Rover once lived in a rescue or shelter. Grant hopes that the beautiful, loving and grateful faces inside Rover will inspire people to welcome a shelter pet into their home.

  1. What a fun day! And yes, my girls being home=shopping! LOL Our #2 will be back for Easter break next Wednesday. And, we are on the hunt for a glitzy dress for spring semi-formal (theme is putting on the glitz). I might have to look into those shops sometime when we are in Texas for a visit.

  10. I think that what you said made a great deal of sense. However, what about this?
what if you were to write a killer post title?
I mean, I don't want to tell you how to run your blog, but what if you added something that grabbed a person's attention?
I mean "A Great Day With My #1" is kinda plain.

You might glance at Yahoo's front page and note how they write post headlines to grab people interested. You might add a video or a related picture or two to get readers interested about everything've written.
In my opinion, it would bring your website a little livelier.

Here is my webpage ... galaxy S4 just how much
