Designer of the Day: Nina Liddle

I hope all is well in your world.  We absolutely loved Downton Abbey.  I wanted to stay for a second show, but the Mister put the kabash on that thought.  He was hungry and was already 8 minutes late for his second feeding of the day.

Did you watch the Emmys?  I am a big fan of Nate's and thought he did a great job.  He got some bad reviews, though.

So glad Katherine LaNasa won for her role in The Pitt.

Piiiiiiiiiiper.... why didn't you help your Mama pick out her dress?

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I post many gorgeous interior design photos for which I can take absolutely no credit.  I try to be impartial, but I do have my favorites, and Nina Liddle is one of them.

From appearances, Nina Liddle's life resembles a Nancy Meyers movie. She is a well-respected interior designer living and working in the heart of Nantucket.  Her husband is head of the Upper School at Nantucket New School, and she has one daughter away at college.

Nina graduated from Sarah Lawrence College and had a successful sixteen-year career in real estate. She hails from New Jersey and has lived on Nantucket for 30 years.

Nina and her team blend practicality and aesthetics and put a trademark touch of Nantucket in every design.

Nina also has a flair for recognizing a home's true potential.

From floor plans to finding the perfect accessory, Nina's expertise is a valued resource to a client.

Nina takes the lead when executing a plan and seeing it through to the conclusion of the project.

Nina has the vision and focus to increase the value of a home.

Nina recently opened a chic boutique called Birdie on Washington Street.  The name came from Nina's nickname as a child.

Birdie reflects Nina's keen eye for design, and almost every piece reflects Nantucket's charm.

Nina's website can be found here.  Nina is also active on Instagram and can be found @ninaliddledesign.  The photography is the work of the talented Jane Beiles.

  2. I love Nina and her choice of wallpapers! She does serene as beautifully as she does lively! If I lived within 25 miles of Birdie that would be my "go to" for gifts. She's magical!

  5. Watched The Girlfriend in two days and enjoyed it. Would like to see Downton Abby movie because I loved the show. Agree that Piper did not pick the most flattering outfit.
