Designer of the Day: Rhonda Everts

I hope that all is well in your world.  We had a delightful weekend.  Friday night, we had dinner with one of our favorite couples.

Saturday was Lunch with Lucy Day!  We went to her favorite restaurant, Mi Cocina, and she was a perfect little lady, as always.  Lucy loves going out to eat.  She is a seasoned people watcher, a talent she inherited from moi.

She usually brings her own appetizer.
Today, she featured Mexican Cheerios.

Afterward, we strolled around Highland Park Village.  Grandpa treated Miss Lucy to a cupcake from Bird Bakery.
It was a hit!

#1's dress is from Etsy.

Enough with the pics!
Let's get back to the cupcakes!

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I love to post Interior Design photos. Over the years, I have accumulated a list of my favorite designers, which is how my series Designer of the Day was born.

Rhonda Everts fits the bill with her flair for color and pattern mix.  Her attention to detail is evident.  I often find myself reposting a lot of her designs.

Rhonda Everts is the founder and principal designer of the full-service interior design firm R. Everts Interiors, based in the Boston area and with a myriad of residential projects across the country.

After an early career in the Manhattan fashion industry, Rhonda Everts turned her creativity, knowledge of textiles, style' and love for color and pattern to interiors over twenty-five years ago. Rhonda’s signature style is “traditional with a twist” - timeless, layered, and fresh, with a curated mix of new and classic elements that create an inviting warmth to her interiors.

Rhonda quickly gained a loyal following of clients who appreciate her warm and thoughtful personality, as well as her eye for design and ability to manage interior design projects, from new builds and renovations to individual rooms, fully through to completion.

Rhonda has worked with repeat clients over decades on multiple projects across the country. She has a gift for connecting with people and animals (Rhonda loves to ride and was once a professional equestrian). As a mother who has raised three adult children, always has dogs running around,  and loves to host family gatherings, Rhonda believes you should live in every space of your home.

After decades in the business, Rhonda Everts rebranded her firm from Refined Elegance Interiors  Inc. to R. Everts Interiors LLC in 2023, marking a new chapter and the unveiling of some of  Rhonda’s most impressive projects yet.

Thank you, Rhonda, for allowing me to showcase your talent.

    1. It's part of the restaurant's highchairs and trays for baby customers, so they won't throw food all over the floor...Duh.

  3. Rhonda knows my heart! Nobody does "pop color” like she does! If I win the lottery she’s the first person I’m calling.

  4. Lucy is adorable and growing so fast. Do you think you’re number one which share where her earrings are from? I have admired them in several of your posts.♥️
