The Friday Files

I hope that all is well in your world. The Mister has been out of town, so Millie and I have been living like two wild and crazy sorority girls.

The no pets on furniture policy went out the window.
There's a new sheriff in town.

Earlier in the week, the Mister and I hit the movies.  The Penguin Lessons was a beautiful flick based on a true story.
Warning: it's a two-tissue ending.

This gorgeous waterfront Cape Cod vacation home designed by SLC Interiors is beyond stunning.

This cottage in Bellport, NY, designed by Alexander Reid, is not to be missed.

Here is an interview with one of my favorite characters on White Lotus.

This is a fun article on body language and secret meanings.

The writer of this article spills the tea on how to have a successful screen-free road trip with two children.

This is Valerie.
If only dogs could talk.

I used to watch this show with my girls.

I never got into this show but I know that I am in the minority.

My favorite interviewer of all time.

I love this show!!!!

  1. hehehe! That made me smile about the no pets on furniture policy going out of the window.
I have just seen the trailer for The Penguin Lessons on the TV and thought it looked such a good movie and I keep seeing the Handmaid's Tale being advertised, it must be returning soon. I like it.

  2. I’m on Team Valerie! I have a newfound respect for her breed after reading her ‘great escape’ if I lived on that island I’d search for her too. Keep us posted when she’s reunited with her parents! Happy Weekend Katie! KTG

  3. Dearest Katie,
The return of Hacks and The Handmaids Tale. My streaming just got better. I must confess I started watching HT and quit. I finally returned to the series and watched. It was bizarre. I thought the Penguin movie looked sweet and I always check out your recommendations. Thank you. Have a wonderful weekend and Millie better get off the couch before the Mister returns.

  4. My daughter and I often watched Say Yes to the Dress. We rarely liked the same wedding
    dress.

  5. 'Wild and crazy sorority girls.' And she's asleep in the chair - that made me laugh!

  6. My Mister would be the one to let Sadie break the no pets on the furniture rule. Looks you and Millie had fun. Loved the home tours, as usual. The view the first house has of the water. Chelsea Detective looks good as does Letterman.

  7. Cute pup photo, looks like she could use some bulking up. Maybe add some cheeseburgers to her diet to get that calorie count up.
