I hope all is well in your world. The Mister and I had a wonderful time on our cruise and I look forward to telling you all about it in the coming weeks.
Today, I am linking up with my friends from Hodgepodge, where we answer Joyce's thoughtful questions on her blog, From This Side of the Pond.
1. February 26th is National Tell A Fairy Tale Day...have you read a fairy tale lately? What's your favorite fairy tale?
Do you believe in 'happily ever after'?
Do I believe in happily ever after?
Some days more than others.
2. Complete one of the following sentences with a thought relating to your life currently-_
3. Which of the following 'fairy tale foods' is your favorite? Which have you made/eaten most recently?
porridge/oatmeal (Goldilocks and The Three Bears), an apple (Snow White), a gingerbread cookie (The Gingerbread Man), pumpkin soup/pie/bread (Cinderella), peas (The Princess and the Pea), beans (Jack and The Beanstalk) or a cup of tea (Alice in Wonderland)
4. What's your idea of fun?
Any day spent with Miss Lucy is a guaranteed good time.
5. Next week's Hodgepodge lands in March. Is that right? I guess so. Give us one noun, one verb, and one adjective that tell us something about your February. To make you think a little harder, you cannot use the words cold or snowy.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
How is Lucy already turning one? It’s flown. Looking forward to your holiday recap. And your comment under your wedding photo cracked me up. Rita
ReplyDeleteYour granddaughter is precious! Beauty and the Beast was a favorite here too, all those 'old' Disney movies were really and now we're enjoying them with the grands which is fun. Have a great day! I so agree with you about the unexpected joy blogging brings.
ReplyDeleteI too love the Beauty and the Beast movie, the animated and live action one.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you have found happiness with your blog.
Your Lucy is so cute! Our Lucy turns one in March, too! At this time last year, my husband and I were burning up I65 South and North taking turns staying with our daughter in the hospital. I, too, love Beauty and the Beast! I couldn't pick a favorite!
ReplyDeleteYou keep doing what you are doing because from the looks of your wedding photo, you have not aged at all! I want to thank Daughter #1 aka Lucy's Mom for recommending the Pavoi gold hoops years ago - my go to gift and they are so lightweight - love ALL your recommendations! There is nothing better than seeing you two with Lucy - adorable. Cannot wait until this dreary February is over.
ReplyDeleteYou get me through so many tough days! Love ya girl!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe Lucy will be turning one...time flies!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed seeing your family photos, as always. Printed out the pumpkin bread recipe. One of my favorite things to eat and my pumpkin bread always turns out better than my banana bread and I can't figure out why,
ReplyDeleteBeauty and the Beast is my favorite as well, and I am pretty sure I can still recite almost all the lines and sing all the songs. I like your "Once Upon A Time" and enjoyed seeing your answers to these today. Hope you're having a great week!
ReplyDeleteTime flies! I can't believe Lucy will be becoming one year old. Congratulations lucy

I enjoyed your answers. I LOVE banana bread and found a wonderful recipe for sourdough banana bread now I want to go make it. Happy birthday to sweet Lucy.
ReplyDeleteHow can your sweet Lucy possibly be one already? What joy! Beauty and the Beast was our girls' favorite, too, and now it's fun to watch our Lucy sing Disney songs just like her mom and auntie did all those years ago! Be still my heart!
ReplyDeleteI definitely loved every little bit of it. Cheers for the info! Thankyou so much
ReplyDeleteA really Good post, I found a lot of interesting information here. Thanks for sharing.
