I hope all is well in your world. Are you ready to lose an hour this weekend? I am in the minority but I don't care for the time change. We are early to bed/early to rise people and I feel guilty heading to bed when it is still light out.
I told the Mister in protest that I would not be setting my watch for the time change.
He said good luck with that.

My #1's darling top is from Tuckernuck.
You can find my dress here.
My little Grandma used to say that if you make a friend today, it's a very good day. I attended a Blogger Meet-Up yesterday with some wonderful bloggers. Melanie from Southern Crush At Home was kind enough to arrange it at Fairview Farmers.
I was thrilled to meet KariAnne from Thistlewood Farms. She is the Queen B of Blogging. When I began blogging, I hired KariAnne via telephone to help me with the ins and outs of the process. She was so helpful, and I still utilize her tips today.
Hop over and check out her fabulous blog and her Insta, Thistlewood where she showcases her design talents and great fashion finds.
KariAnne is also an author!
Did you watch The Oscars? If you missed it and want to see some dresses, click here. The above are my favorites.
Whether you love her or do not care for her, this is an interesting article about how Colleen Hoover became the author's gateway drug.
Btw... I spotted some daffodils yesterday and I jumped for joy!
I don't know about your house, but our windows seem to be a prime target for birds smashing into our windows. Here's a guide to what we can do.
Great news!
Napping is actually good for you!
The Mister and I saw this in the theater this week. The Mister didn't like it at all. I thought the acting was incredible, but it was a bit on the depressing side.
The Mister and I are loving this show.
Love these two!!!
If the show has the word scandal in the title, I'm there.
Free shipping on all Spanx!!!
Skort with tummy compression
Any weddings on your calendar?
Cute for Easter.
If I looked this good in a swimsuit, I would never take it off.
Pull-on travel pants!!!!
Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!!!
Lots of cute colors including green for the 17th.
These come in lots of colors and wide widths.
I bought this dress and love the color.
Love this stuff!
My favorite hydrating cream.
Covers the grey & keeps the brows in place.
Happy birthday to Miss Lucy, she is just adorable. It looks like a lovely celebration.

DeleteI met KariAnne years ago when we attended a Tybee Island retreat for writers/bloggers. She’s the real deal fun and nice! Love to spend time on your site clicking away at all the goodies!
ReplyDeleteAlways love the home tours. I did not watch the Oscars this year but the gowns you showed were just gorgeous. Thanks for the tips on what to watch. We will check them out.
ReplyDeleteHi Katie,
ReplyDeleteOn the pink and blue dress you wore to Lucy’s first birthday party. What size did you order? It looks like it runs big in the shoulders but it’s hard to tell. I have purchased clothes from India before that have a roomy fit so I’m looking for some feedback please. I’m 34C in the bust.
Thx for your help.
I ordered xsmall because I am flat as a pancake. I make up for it with in my stomach.
DeleteLove all the fashion & adorable Lucy🥰 For reference what size did you order in the orange Amazon dress?
ReplyDeleteSmall and it’s roomy.
DeleteThanks so much🥰. Nancy B
DeleteMiss Lucy’s party had their own Red Carpet Show! Would love to know where #2’s dress came from? I always enjoy your House Tours imagining I’m the ‘grand dame’ of each one. Happy 1st Birthday Lucy, you win “best dressed!” KTG
ReplyDeleteKtg… I will text you the deets as soon as I talk to her. Xx
DeleteI love your posts and all the information and joy they offer us. I have to say that I am with you on the time change. I feel it is unfair to those of us that do rise and retire early. If Congress doesn't eliminate it completely ( I pray they do) at least make it even with 6 months on and 6 months off since we are the ones getting that bad end of the deal at the moment
ReplyDeleteA girl after my own heart!! 6 on/ 6 off is a compromise I can live with!!
DeleteTotally with you, Katie ... not excited about the time change. Feels like it arrives earlier every year. Oh well, what can we do? You met KA!!! I've consulted with her too and she's a genius in addition to being on of the most delightful people on the planet. Lovely to see you too together. Happy weekend! xo
ReplyDeleteKA is lovely! Maybe you could come visit during your sabatical?!?
DeleteWonderful post! Thank you for sharing!
