Afterwards, we stopped at Bird Bakery for some treats. Cookie the Elf let Lucy take her baby on a field trip.
I don't know who had a worse case of a food coma, Lucy or me!

I'm Katie. Welcome to my blog. I am an empty nester meandering through my midlife years one page at a time. We sold our antique home on the South Shore of Massachusetts in October 2020 and relocated to the Dallas suburbs and our forever home.
I love to write about books, movies, TV, celebrities, shopping, decorating, Bravo, and weekend adventures. My favorite writing material, however, is derived from my family: the Mister, my girls, #1 and #2, my favorite son-in-law, and my new little mischief-maker, thoroughly darling Millie. I love hearing from my wonderful readers.

Your little Lucy is like a living baby doll. She is so adorable and I love the sweet, crinkle-eye smile she is giving her mom, who is a beauty in her own right. Oh so many good and beautiful book suggestions. I read the list to my friend, whom we’re visiting, and is a book lover, and Theo is #1 on her waiting list. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post! Love seeing pictures of your family. Yours was the first email I opened with the intention of making quick work of my in box, and on to other Christmas related things, and here I am reading through all the book choices and gifts and taking way more time than "allotted!" Lol! Thanks for the great suggestions, and good luck at the dentist!
ReplyDeleteLove this post as a fellow bibliophile! Is that the Kindle you read from? I need an upgrade.
