I hope all is well in your world. Are you ready for Snowmegeddon? Thanks to the Mister, we are well-equipped. Our generators are powered up, the chargers are charged, we have buckets of batteries, numerous flashlights in every room, enough non-perishable food, water bottles, and wine to supply an army, and a state-of-the-art first aid kit.
Have I shared that the Mister was is an Eagle Scout?
As the Mister says, once an Eagle Scout, always an Eagle Scout.
This pretty much captures the mood around here. Millie is on a self-inflicted fast so she won't have to weather the storm.
This gorgeous Palm Beach home was designed by Miles Redd and photographed by Carmel Brantley and Ori Arpaz.
Can you believe that this Detroit mansion sold for 800K?
And no, the new owner is not tearing it down.
Good news for teens and their pups.
Heck, I'm just trying to make them answer my texts.

If you think that the only reason I want to watch this is Patrick Dempsey, you would absolutely be correct.

I had to find out the name of Best Resort and happy to see it's right here in the Sunshine State - Bungalows Key Largo is on my list and I'll gladly send you a picture when I'm there! Ripples looks cute, thank you Mrs Adorable. Love every dress from Tuckernuck. Trying to stay warm in Chi Town...KTG
ReplyDeleteThe Mister has done a good job of prepping for the ice storm. We had just moved to NJ when Superstorm Sandy hit and lost power for 12 days. I can live with cold and being stuck inside, but not having electricity is my biggest fear. Fingers crossed that the storm turns out not to be much of anything. I started listening to Strangers by Belle Burden and am enjoying it. Great rec for an audio book.
ReplyDeleteLove all the links you always have. Bungalows-Key Largo is on my list! Loved two or three of the things I saw but my size was sold out in all of them...darn it!!! Have a safe cold weather weekend. We are minus 16˚F here right now with no relief in sight for a few days. We might get up to ZERO˚F today if we are lucky! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteKatie, hope you & your family stay safe and warm. I live in the PNW & we lost power for several days year. I agree with one of your "anonymous" commentators, dealing with the lack of heat is hard, but lack of electricity or internet service was awful!
