Happy Cinco de Mayo! I hope that all is well in your world! Thanks to the Mister's impeccable planning, we had a wonderful NYC getaway birthday celebration. I can't wait to tell you all about it.
Over the weekend, the Mister dragged took me to see The Accountant 2. If you enjoy ear-piercing gun fights and enough blood splatter to supply the Red Cross for a year, this flick is for you.
Every month, there is an Amazon link-up party for my fellow bloggers. I haven't participated for a few months, so my list is longer than usual. You can find the link-up at my friend Andrea's blog right here.
All set for Summer entertaining!
I love CPC products.
Reorder for the 5th time.
Great comfort & reasonable price.
I have big plans to take my pickleball game up a few notches.
I replenished my supply of my favorite tops.
You've got to look good to play good.
I ordered some new colors.
At last!!!
These tablets have saved us beaucoup bucks.
Millie hasn't had any tummy troubles since we began giving her these nine months ago.
Millie bribes.
I am not a shoe person. These are the only shoes that I wear during the warmer months. I have them in different colors and patterns and wedge heights. They are so comfy! My navy pair have seen better days, so I reordered these. I had no idea that Amazon carries them.
If you are height-challenged like me and looking for some comfy jammie bottoms, these are for you! Added bonus: they have deep pockets!
I have a dear friend who has been using silk pillow cases for years. She talked me into taking the plunge. I'm not sure they prevent wrinkles but they are much cooler on warm nights.
I am old school and still wear bifocals. I needed a new pair of sunglasses, so I bought these to try before I invested the money in progressive lenses. The jury is still out.
My office is on the second floor. I have never walked up the stairs empty-handed, so I always look for sweatshirts with big pockets. This one is a good bang for your buck.
My favorite brand!
I've worn the same lipstick for about 15 years. Even though the company denies it, the formula has recently changed, so I am now searching for my new favorite. This one is rich and creamy but lacks staying power.
Any suggestions?
I bought these to dress up these shoes.
Thanks, KariAnne, for influencing me.
Small price; big impact.
I use this over my concealer; it is a much softer look.
I use one of these to pat it on.
I have used Jane Iredale powder foundation for over 20 years. I tried her bronzer and I am impressed.
Ugh. Don't bother.
I've been using this brow pencil for a few years. I keep buying different brands, but I always return to this one.
Thanks, #1, for the rec of these.
They are a lot cheaper than the name brand.
Love this stuff. The Budget Dermatologist recommended this, and I am on my second reorder.
I never knew that Mudpie made dresses!
They are well-made and reasonable.
I know I sound like a broken record, but I use one every night to clear my nasal passages for a restful sleep.
When my allergy comes on, only one eye gets itchy. I told my doctor, and he looked at me like I had two heads. He recommended this, which works.
Can anybody relate?
I ordered this miracle-in-a-bottle for my purse.
We popped these during our NYC trip, and we have remained healthy.
God willing.
I ordered this yesterday because an influencer told me to buy it.
Here are some things that I picked up for Miss Lucy.
Lucy loves books!

Amazon
My mother used to read this book to Sista and me.
Lucy's favorite part is the hammer that goes boing!
Not her Mommy and Daddy's favorite.
Miss Lucy is President of the Miss Rachel fan club.
Of all the toys we have given her, this one is her favorite! Her Mama's favorite is the working microphone because she is the Queen of Karaoke.

Love seeing the cute baby toys for Lucy. It must be fun to buy things for her. I ordered one of the Lou Keith skorts from your previous link and I really like it. You turned us on to the Dream Bones for Sadie and I now have them on auto reorder. Look forward to hearing what you did in the cuty.
ReplyDeleteHi Melissa! I love to hear what everyone likes. I find the Lou Keith skorts so comfortable. Millie dreams about Dream Bones! Have a great week!
DeleteThose dresses are so cute!
ReplyDeleteI have both of them and they are well made and the colors are beautiful!
DeleteAlready put several items in my cart. Love your posts.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!
DeleteTry "Chili" by MAC
ReplyDeleteWill do!! Thanks so much for the recommendation.
DeleteHave you tried Charleston shoes, i think you will like them too. Also you recommended a couple of months ago you were trying makeup for under eye circles how did it go.?
ReplyDeleteYes, I have owned Charleston shoes and loved them. Both pairs wedge height was too high so I gave them away. I will definitely looks at their flats. Thanks for the reminder. As far as concealer goes, I own about 20 brands. The one that I have used lately is made by Tarte. The thing that does help is that Essence pink powder over the concealer. It has a softens the under eye area and it creases less. Have a great week and thank you for reading.
DeleteI’ve been wearing Clinique Poppy Pop for years…looks great with everything! Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteI just checked out the color and it would be perfect for me. I'll head to Belk if it ever stops raining. Thanks for the recommendations.
DeleteThanks, Katie… found some great things to order. If you want a great board book for Miss Lucy, get Dear Zoo. It’s so much fun, and I include it with every baby gift I give.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the rec! I am headed to Amazon to order it. Have a great week and thank you for reading.
DeleteI still love the Dewey Foundation. I wear it more in the Winter because I need every drop of dewiness I can get. Yes, I still use Jane Iredale powder foundation. I use the It CC Cream first and then apply the Jane Iredale for coverage where I need it. Thank you for your sweet words and thank you for reading.
ReplyDeleteHi Katie! I love your blog and witty commentary! I know you love Lumify (and I used to as well!) as it instantly whitens eyes however it contains "benzalkonium chloride" (aka BAK) which can cause side effects such as dry eye, conjunctival inflammation, and damage to the corneal epithelium. BAK was banned in Europe in 2022. Just wanted to pass this along as I'd like to keep reading your blog for many many years to come! :)
ReplyDeleteI liked the first The Accountant - so I will be sure to see the second one! I bought a bubble mower for my grandson and he loves it. You turned me onto Toni Pons wedges a while back and yes they are the perfect heel height and comfy. Yes I also include a Dear Zoo board book with all baby gifts - it's my favorite baby book.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about Miss Rachel? (Actually, I do kind of get it!). My two granddaughters are mesmerized, too! We gave our youngest the Miss Rachel doll that talks and sings and it's her favorite toy, too! Thanks for all the great recommendations! I always love reading your blog... so informative and so witty!
ReplyDeleteI love to read your blog...you have the best sense of humor and style! I also love the Mudpie dress you posted...I am 5'9" so I'm guessing it'll be too short for me??
