Happy Halloween!  Have you bought your candy yet? We don't get trick-or-treaters in our 'hood, but the Mister always insists on buying his favorite candy just in case. He then continues to munch on it all week until it's gone.



I played some pickleball this week. I had a few moments of brilliance—three to be exact. The rest of my time was spent practicing how hard I could hit the ball into the net. 

I met my pickle buddies for a glass or two at our village wine bar. We may not win any awards for our athletic prowess, but we could come in first when it comes to the art of having a good time.




I wore my new favorite sweater to lunch with the Mister. I have two, and I am waiting for the third to go on sale.

    I just received my Land's End sweater (the same as yours) in navy and green yesterday. I can't wait to wear it! And boy, do we get trick or treaters - 1500 of them to be exact! The first year we moved here (5 years ago) and Halloween came around, we ran out of our 500 pieces in 30 minutes! We learned our lesson after that and found that 1500 was the sweet spot!
